I think it's Peterman and Kruger. While the Yankee stuff was truly inspired, I prefer an on screen character to an off screen one. The off screen nature of Steinbrenner made him kind of one note. It served the character well, but he's just necessarily not as dynamic a character as Kruger in my mind.
As to Elaine, I really never cared that much for Pitt. It's an easy choice for Peterman for me.

J.Peterman, just cause it was always funny when he would go into one of his long boring stories of when he was on another continent, and Elaine would have to sit there and listen to the whole thing. The English Patient episode was classic too.
