I'm not disputing that Juliet probably isn't the one in the coffin, but answer me this: Jack, Kate, et all are lying. They pretty much wrote off 40-odd people as ever having had survived the crash in their story. Why, then, are people instisting that a small lie like Juliet having been on the plane going to phase them at all? the only people that knew the manifest were Frank Lapidus, the survivors of 815, and those that work for Oceanic Airlines: the very people who are behind the uber-lie. So Juliet, Ben, etc could absolutely be presented to the world as one of the "Oceanic Six".

I agree. She, theoretically could be one as well as Ben, but I don't think either is the case.

First, we don't know that Oceanic Airlines has anything to do with Dharma or the island. That's a pretty huge assumption on your part. I'm not saying it's not possible, but at this point we don't really have enough info to conclusively make that connection.

Second, once the story got out about 815's "crash" (read: the Oceanic coverup), the names of the people on the plane were probably released to the public once their families had been notified. Thus, that information of who was actually on the plane is out there for any curious parties/conspiracy theorists to find.

Remember WHY they are lying. They are lying to PROTECT their surviving friends.

And Juliet being on the plane takes more than a lie. She's not on the manifest. How can they explain where she could have come from? It's just feasible.

I misread the spoilers in previous posts so I retract my theory! Besides, I realized after I made that post that it was made known it was a male in the coffin. Unless she gets a certain operation, I don't think so.

When I first read it, I read it as "We will find out Juliet is...." so my mind went off in some tangent of what that might mean.
