The world is a sad place when Evangeline Lily graces the TV screen but you're all looking at Matthew Fox's teeth

Nothing is confusing. Go back a few posts, watch the Orchard video. There were exact copies of the rabbit because of a time paradox. They did not clone the rabbit. I think you are trying to make it confusing for some reason.

Even more simply---exact copies exist because of a time paradox.

I am not saying I think I am 100% right. I don't have a crystal ball that shows me where the show is going, but it sure fits in a whole lot more with the clues they have shown us than a clone theory.

As far as your other questions...I am not trying to answer all those, just putting a theory out there of why there are two planes found now. Two possible theories, actually. Just theories.

The Orchid station has to show up this season. I think that is the station that will tie in what Dharma was really doing on the island, why certain stations had edited/missing films, and why "Mr. Candle" was using different names in the videos. It could all be a ruse, or not.

Wow.

This thread is interesting.

I don't really get that 'in-depth' with it. I just accept whatever I watch on this show. Maybe that's a good thing, maybe that's a bad thing, but for some reason, I really don't try to dig deeper...maybe on purpose.

I'm too lazy to dig up my box set, but at the end of season 2 when Ben let Michael and Walt go, didn't he say to "follow these coordinates they will lead you to a freighter" That's paraphrased. I think Micheal might be on that freighter which has Dharma people on it.

I believe the terms Ben used were "if you follow these co-ordinates exactly, you will find rescue."

I know you aren't saying this is Lost gospel, but the one thing that doesn't jive with me is that if there is a time paradox, these things aren't copies, but the same people at the same time more than once. I mean, it's like Marty McFly in BTTF2 at the Enchantment Under the Sea Dance. He's there *again*, but there isn't 2 of him. He's just there twice simultaneously.

Likewise there isn't 2 of the same rabbit, but rather the same rabbit is there twice.

Therefore, you can't have a plane full of dead people underwater only to have the SAME PLANE break up in the air over the island and some of the people there die (again/first?) and some survive.

Anyway, that's my take on it. Of course maybe Lost has a new set of time paradox/travel rules other than BTTF, Timecop, and Terminator (like the Goobacks in South Park).

I'm with you on this one. I accept what is shown and I try not to go too in depth with it as it'll just end up boggling my mind. It is, however, always interesting to see what kind of crazy minor details other Losties point out.
