Hey, i watch Rock of Love as well. But "I Love New York" is still garbage.

But what am I supposed to expect - this site also has the movie guys who hate all blockbuster theater releases. Apparently they just spend all their time in arthouse theaters.
I don't hate all blockbuster releases. I only hate Nic Cage.

The top 10 shows that I look forward to watching:

30 Rock
The Office
Lost
Weeds
The Tudors
The Wire
Big Love
Battlestar Galactica
24 (although last season was so disappointing)
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

I'm sure there's some I'm forgetting, and maybe I should have put stuff like Rescue Me and The Shield in the Top 10. But that's a decent list off the top of my head.

I'm far from sophisticated, but I love Nova! Well, when the topic is of interest to me anyways. I'm addicted to the Science Channel too.

Best:

Big Love (probably the most overlooked brilliant show on TV. Or that could be Mad Men if it lives up to all the hype. I haven't watched that yet)
Psych
House
Wire
Shield
30 Rock (surpassed The Office this year to be best comedy on tv)
Doctor Who
Chuck
Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends (most imaginative and creative cartoon I've had the pleasure of watching in some time)
Dirty Jobs (Mike Rowe is immensely likable and entertaining as are many of the workers featured on the show).

Honorable Mention: Life. Flight of the Conchords. Top Chef. Nova. Those wicked awesome Walking With Dinosaurs shows on Discovery that recreates prehistoric ages through CGI. I'm a total sucker for those.

Worst:

I don't like a lot of the competitive reality shows, like Dancing With the Stars or Idol, but I can sort of see the appeal of them.

However, I really find the reality stuff vh-1 puts on tv to be complete dreck. All of that celebriality shit is the worst.

I actually forgot that Daria was an MTV thing. I loved that show! MTV used to have such a kick ass animation line-up, but I guess all of that creative and edgy stuff finds it home on adult swim now.

I think I only record 10 shows but I'll give this a shot anyway. Not necessarily the best, but my favorites:

The Office
Friday Night Lights
Lost
24
Scrubs
CSI
Heroes
Entourage
the Unit
Smallville

That's 10. My Name is Earl and Reaper round out my season pass list.

As for 10 worst, it's not worth it. I don't watch what I don't like and don't sweat over it.

I had Nova on my list. Is that a problem?

It's kind of scary that anyone would watch enough shows to create a top 10 and bottom 10 list

I just don't understand many of the posts on this thread.

How could Desperate Housewives be on anyone's worst list? As much as you may hate it, it still remains one of TV's slickest and well crafted series.

I agree. There are certainly at least ten shows on television. Its nowhere near the worst, let alone bottom 10.

I disagree. The show is by no means unwatchable, but its over-the-top plotlines many times border on the ridiculous. The same can be said for Grey's Anatomy.

I try to follow around 30-35 programs and Desperate Housewives is one of my favorites. However, I can see it not being everyone's cup of tea. I think alot of Men, especially in these forums, have a predisposed hate for this type of drama....same with shows like Grey's Anatomy.

I do like my adrenaline pumping action shows and procedural shows, but quirky shows like this help lighten up the mood and make me laugh.

Best:

The Office
Jeopardy!
IT Crowd
Saxondale
Still Game
Peep Show
Lead Balloon
Ugly Betty
Nova
Big Love

Worst: (Obviously my opinion only)

Reality Shows
most game shows, except Jeopardy!
Entertainment news shows (ET, et al)
The View
All the stupid Judge X, Divorce court, etc. shows.
TLC's crab fishing shows. How many of these can they make? It's dangerous, I get it.
Televangelist programs
Anything to do with Pro Wrestling.

Looks like Lost, Dexter and the Wire are on the most lists and likely the shows with the best writers and arching storylines.
