My DVR is now happy to record something new.

Sweet. I love ending the week with Monk & Spencer.

Do they both have full 8 episode runs, or will they be strike-shortened?

I am fully on the psych bandwagon. I used to catch episodes here and there, and always enjoyed them, but never set a season pass. But my brother loves the show, and has kept recommending it - plus we just got USA HD in my area - so I decided to add it.

Since doing that, I've been recording old episodes in the marathons that have been on. And I'm ashamed that I haven't watched it from the beginning. It really is hilarious. Roday and hill are one of the best duos/partnerships on TV right now - they're that funny together (for a point of refernce, they're up there with with coach and Mrs. Coach on Friday night lights, and turk and JD on scrubs for me). And I simply love the way roday delivers his lines. Is there any improv involved? If not, that is some serious stream-of-consciousness writing.

I also enjoy it because it's great to have a crime show that isn't dark and bleak.

The exact same thing has happened to me regarding "Monk". I never watched it until 2 weeks ago and just can't get enough! Although the show may be making my self-diagnosed OCD a little worse....

I've been a fan of Monk, but heard that in later seasons, the Trudy plotline hasn't been addressed in a long time. I hope they get to that soon.

Okay I give up, whats the point of having a black character if he acts white?

Saw Psych and though the show annoys me alot, its a guilty pleasure and I can breeze through it while working out. The ep wasnt that bad though. Will catch monk in about an hour.
