Welcome to the Captain. Tambor!!

Saw a clip of this the other day and I'm super glad to see Tambor doing another show. I loved him in Arrested Development. And good LORD Raquel Welch is still HOT.

Anybody know more about this show? Here's a few clips I found on youtube.

MEET UNCLE SAUL
MEET CHARLENE
MEET JESUS

Welcome to The Captain (previously known as The Captain) is an upcoming American television comedy created, executive produced and directed by John Hamburg. Andrew Reich and Ted Cohen also serve as executive producers. The show is about a young writer (Fran Kranz) whose life changes when he moves into a legendary old Hollywood apartment building.

Produced by CBS Paramount Network Television and John & Anders, the series was greenlit and given a six-episode order in June 2007.[1] It is currently scheduled to air as a mid-season replacement in 2008 replacing The Big Bang Theory.[2]

Welcome to The Captain will premiere on February 4 airing on Monday nights. [3]. The show is currently in the test screening process.

If this show becomes a hit, maybe Sony will finally release The Larry Sanders Show season 2 on DVD.
If not, just remember. There's always money in the banana stand....

Watching those clips, it looks like this was somewhat inspired by Fawlty Towers.

Thought the same thing right away as well. As much as I enjoy Tambor I think based on those few clips I would be better off spending the 50.00 on the Fawlty Towers set.
