True, but it was my understanding from Catherine Tate while on Graham Norton that Tennant also contributed to the idea process since he himself was a fan. She said that he and Davies would be tattering on about some Who lore while she just sat there lost. LOL! So losing him as part of the creative process does stink considering how good most of Moffat's contributions have been so far.
