but now she's an alien and it brings a whole new twist to Heroes that will be explained in Volume 3 "Space Adventures"

You guys here are seriously bat-shit insane.

Bell is stunning, & I can only speak for my own geekiness, but what seperates her from the thousands of other "hot-blonde-actresses" is the personality. That she is pretty much a dork herself, she reads comics, has very "nerdy" taste in TV & movies, listens to indie-music, & is self-depricating, witty & funny in interviews.

And take it from me first hand, the girl's skin is flawless & lazy eye unnoticable in person (especially when compared to my fat-face full of imperfections) . . .

It's so hard to tell with this show whether or not that sort of thing is intentional or not because the writing varies from brilliant to terrible so unpredictably. I mean, why not just go ahead and take both West and Claire if you're Bob in that situation? I guess it could be that he was really serious about just asking Claire for a cup of sugar, er, blood. Still, I doubt his colleague Mohinder shooting a hole in her dad's eye bodes well for any future cooperation with Claire. Why let her stay out there if she's useful and won't be cooperative next time unless you wanted HRG and not her in the first place?

If she was executing a plan she had devised with Bob and Mohinder to get HRG, perhaps she just chose not to use the power. Again, this is one of those apparent dumb plot holes that might be more than that. Only time will tell.

I wonder if he could give her some of Claire (or Adam)'s blood and get her into contact with Ma Petrelli. Maybe she could recover some of those memories and really turn on dad.

We had such an episode last night, didn't we? Didn't see see Ali right at the end?

I think that any episode of Heroes that doesn't feature the annoying Wonder Twins is automatically a good one, since I can't stand their glacial storyline. I hope the next time we see them, they're lying on the ground with the tops of their heads cut off thanks to Sylar.

Isn't it obvious that Claire's blood was used to heal HRG?

After a lackluster start to the season, I think the show has picked up considerably the last three episodes.

When Hiro ran into his past self, I was wondering if they would recognize each other a la Jennifer in BTTF 2.

I'm thinking that as Elle finds out more about her past, she'll become more normal and less sadistic.

I'm gay and think she is hot. But what do I know???
I think she is acting like the kid she never grew out of being. She a bit of a kook.

Yet another tremendous episode. Not only do I think the entire thing flowed very well, but there wasn't any fluff. Everything was to the point, and the pace was fast.

I'd like to think Matt asked Molly to find that lady rather than becoming his father, but I think he may have cross the line. At least according to Ma "The Bitch" Patrelli's standards.

I'm surprised HRG bought the farm. I also think Mohinder got lucky, as skill was certainly not involved. Additionally, I think Adam and Peter are the ones who saved HRG, not Bob and Claire's blood.

Here's an interesting though. I think a lot of people are assuming that Adam killed Hiro's father as revenge on Hiro, but is it possible that Adam forgave Hiro somewhere along the line over 400 years, and instead killed him for something related to the Company's activities? Afterall, he's apparently out to take them all down - not just Hiro's dad.

Perhaps they make up and Hiro joins him rather than Bob?

Did Nathan show up at Peter/Adam's place at the end of the previous episode? Perhaps he'll be in the mix as well.

I was hoping Hiro went back to save HRG, but I guess that's already shot. Erm, no pun intended.

Oh, except for a little bad acting, I was rather pleased with how the West story-line turned out.

Final note - LOVED HRG putting Elle in Mr. Muggle's bath. We're going to have to have a poll one day between JB, JB2, Spy Mommy and HRG.

Oh please, is there a single straight guy here who'd say "No," if she said, "You, me, a bottle of rum, and my hotel room, tonight"?

What if... this was all set up by Noah and Mohinder?? What if Mohinder "killed" Noah in front of Bob to "prove" himself, and then used Claire's blood to revive Noah...

Interesting thought... I mean, HRG and Mohinder were working to bring down the Company... the show may be leading us to believe that Mohinder has been lost to the dark side when it's not the case at all...

God I hope you're right, otherwise Mohinder makes Corky from Life Goes On look like Einstein.

I'm not that big a fan of blondes, but I could definitely understand the geek appeal to Bell than to...say...someone like Gellar or Hannigan. Though, from what I understand, Hannigan is a good egg too.

And, yes, Bell's personality (and that she actually has one) definitely works in her favour. I remember an when she was on a talk show (around the time of Reefer Madness), she was pretty cool.

Your point? Most straight men would nail a lot of women of varying levels of general attractiveness, depending on who would find out. I never said she was ugly. I said I don't get the people who slobber over her as if she is the hottest piece of ass to ever grace a television screen. I get that she is the current "geek wet dream" chick for a lot of people, just like Morgan Webb was for a lot of gamer nerds, but it is still pretty ridiculous.

Aside from how I feel about her looks, I actually do really like her character, unlike a lot of people here. The show takes itself way too seriously sometimes, imo, and she provides a nice little reprieve from that for me.

What's weird is that I don't remember her complexion looking that bad in 3 seasons of Veronica Mars, but on Heroes, it's a bit noticeable.

That's the difference between being the star of a show and being the guest star?

Mohinder has never been particularly bright. Tell me he shouldn't have been able to figure out he was with Sylar far earlier last year.

So true, so true. I was so hoping he'd get squished in that fight between Peter and Sylar, but I guess he has pictures of Tim Kring fucking a goat or something.

The first thing I wanted to post was West's awful line read of "What are you doing?" It was so terrible that I had to pause the show I was laughing so hard.

Otherwise I thought the show was a good, fun, episode. Did anyone else notice how much Elle's blood looked like Kool-Aid? It didn't look real at all.

I'm with you, Sessa. It's the funny/smart/cute thing that sells it for me. I personally think she's gorgeous, but you're right, there are more barbi-doll-esque young actresses out there. I just think Bell is the whole package. Must be, since she's hijacked this whole thread.

Remember that Parkman's father said that he was just the controller, that the killer was the instrument. So Matt's dad was putting the order into Adam's head to kill the person.

Just as Matt put the order into Molly's head and Ma Patrelli, Adam probably is just doing the bidding without any way to keep from doing it.

I think that would be a fantastic twist, Achau (mostly because I like the idea of Adam as a good guy), but sadly I think the writers are going for something more straight-forward.

EXACTLY! Man I'm surprised how many of you people just don't get it. (Yet kudos to those of you who do!) Her character is supposed to come off this way. It's not bad acting folks - she's playing a specific part with a specific intent. Don't confuse the character with the actress. And if it's irking you, then guess what, it's working. You're not meant to like her - at least at first.

After what was revealed about her by HRG (Noah) in this epsiode - (about how she was raised, the mind wipes, that she was basically made into a psychopathic weapon, and why he never turned Claire over to them so they could do the same with her) - they've completely set her up to be redeemable now. Hell, you could even see it in the look on her face towards her father (Bob) (at the end of the episode) that she's having doubts about him, and herself, now. Whether anything will change, or not, remains to be seen; but the possibility for it to happen is much more viable now.

So how many times did they brainwipe West to excuse his acting?

So is it sloppy writing that allowed West to zero in on Claire as someone with superpowers? I keep on expecting him to turn on HRG and reveal his ties to the company, but that seems very unlikely at this time.

Guys that dig KB tend to dig her because of her Veronica Mars personality. However, it kinda seems that her Veronica Mars personality is pretty much her actual personality.

Minus the rape.
