Have we seen Adam yet?
Also, what is going on with Sylar? Is his real name Gabriel? Bob said Gabriel killed all those people, is his name Gabriel Sylar? Can someone explain how Bob knows the name Gabriel?

Sylar is a nom de plume that Gabriel took as an alias. I think his name was Gabriel (from the scenes featuring him with his mothere). It would stand to reason Bob and the company would know about Gabriel (but probably lost track of him last season).
Any thoughts on the paintings? I counted only 7 in the warehouse.

Nobody has said what I thought was obvious...Kristen Bell's character's dad is the guy HRG killed, right? She'll be tracking him down.
I took "Adam" to be a code name, personally. Is it a reference to the first of those with powers?
I have to admit that this episode was a let down compared to the last couple of weeks. I think we got some good plot movement, and I'm not down on the Kensei is really a villain or virus stories. I do wish they'd have gone to Philadelphia for the virus scenes in an attempt to distinguish it from the first season and in a shout out to 12 Monkeys.

Well, that was a really disappointing episode. I had already given up hope for this chapter, but now it appears the next chapter will suck too with the whole virus thing (which seems to focus on NYC again!). This whole season has just been one giant repeat of last year. I can't believe they did the whole bitchy cheerleader thing again.
The only storyline I care about is Matt's dad. Please, please don't screw that up too.

I'm thinking, for some reason, that Kensei = Adam Monroe. Just a gut instinct, though.
It makes me sad to see all the complaining...I'm personally loving this season.

Should I dig in on the tivo and start getting caught up or does this season not deliver?

Over the last couple of years I've watched a lot of TV shows old and new and the worst about them is when characters are forced into contrived relationships that networks seem to think mean drama=higher ratings. Last year, for the most part it was okay it connected the characters. The Peter, Simone, Issac triangle helped developed the characters and advance the plot. Hiro and Charlie made for a cute little episode and showed us another facet of Hiro's power. The Jessica/Nathan hookup again showed us what kind of people they were. But, this season is just too much. Peter has amnesia and instead immediately trying to find out who he is he spends all his with some wanabee irish gangsters and a very plain looking girl. It takes somebody dying because of him for him to even care to know who he is. And Hiro, his storyline was pretty good until tonight one kiss between him and Kensei's girl and Kensei's so hurt he turns into bad guy? Next, the horrible Claire/West storyline he stalks her, he pratically yells "your different, your not like other people, let me help you!!!" along with his flying ability and he sweeps her off her feet? It's not she doesn't already know someone else that can fly. And last the god-awful Wonder Twins feat. Sylar storyline, Alejandro had been protecting Maya all along the way then Sylar shows up and now she doesn't wanna listen to what her brother says and doesn't care that she's killing people anymore. I don't always hate when relationships are used on television but I hate when on a show like Heroes the writers have to give so many characters a love interest just to advance the plot like a soap opera.

Maybe the writers are trying to make Heroes like the 24 of the East Coast. Every year they have to save New York. Last year it was a nuke(like 24 Season 2) and this year it's a virus(like 24 Season 3).
The episode did fly by quickly. I guess that's the best thing I can say about it. The problem is the reveal at the end only confirmed what a lot of people including me have been complaining about. They're just repeating themselves this season. Even to the point of having to avert another apocalypse in NYC.

Damnit my DVR decided to do an automatic re-boot and I lost the last 7 minutes of the episode.Anyways, Hiro needs to get the hell out of ancient Japan. I'm starting to get really bored with that storyline. This isn't The Last Samurai. But now that he's fallen in love, it's going to be dragged out longer.
I was happy that the Wonder Twins/Syler's storyline was kept to a minimum. It was amusing to see Syler say that he plans to kill them both and take their powers.....
Please let that be soon!!

I thought the episode was decent, but I have the same problem I have every week now...we don't see enough of all the characters...and the end really did have a 'been there done that' feeling to it. The descriptions for the next 2 weeks sound good...I'm enjoying the show but I find it equally frustrating and entertaining.
