Michael's commercial was amazing - just more proof that The Office has as much "heart" now as before. Although some people don't like it or won't accept (maybe due to their love of the UK version which is top-notch as well), The US Office doesn't rely solely on Jim and Pam.

I agree with the general sentiment - this might have been the best ep of the last two seasons, and certainly of this season. No 'wacky' Michael, no outside-of-the-office folderol, and it stayed focused on the basic characters we know and love without a bunch of contrived plot silliness. Basically all of the stuff that made the second season so darn good. This one actually came closest to reminding me of a Season Two episode probably since Season Two.
Good episodes like this (and much of last week's) make me wonder why the show has jumped the track so badly at times over the last two seasons. Obviously some of the folks writing the show (ie - Lieberstein, Novak) still know what the shows strengths are and can write to that. I hope the remainder of this season keeps going in the "less-is-more" direction, and minimizes the "zany" factor as tonight's episode did.
Oh, and no one even mentioned Dwight's virtual alter-ego. Everytime I saw him flying, I cracked up.

Good, not great episode tonight.
The face Helms makes after "foot-ball cream" -- hilarious.

Hair For Men
poison gas
Nutrasweet
Fancyfeast
and that's when my DVR cuts out.

Or something to that effect. That's all you missed.

Limitless paper in a paperless world.
When did Kevin make the koolaid face? I must have been out of the room.
This episode flowed much better than the 60 minute episodes, plus it was great to have Scrubs back.

Great episode. I guess all The Office needed this season was 30 fewer minutes per week. If I laugh out loud at least half a dozen times, it means the writers and actors did their job.
Speaking of which, my favorite part was the "O D" scene. Dwight's reaction was classic. And Michael's commercial was a nice moment. It's rare we get to see all the characters actually happy around each other. Of course it looks like Karen will come along next week and screw that all up.
