Looks cool as hell. The new setting appears to reinvigorated the show. Then again this is a two minute trailer. We could have a mole by the second episode. :D
I don't think the writers have the balls to make Tony a full fledged bad guy. I bet he'll be revealed to be working undercover or some mis-aligned attempt at doing good without the government. As for him returning with a plausible explanation, at this point I don't care. After the Bauer family <s>drama</s> nonsense last year, I'm up for anything to get season 6 out of my mind.

I was also waiting for the Senator to call Jack Bauer a dumbass. |

None of you should be surprised by Tony's return! Did you watch season four? This is ALL part of Habib Marwan's 75-step terrorist plot master plan against the United States. While he was kidnapping the secretary of defense as a diversion to steal the computer that controls every nuclear powerplant in the country as a diversion to shoot down Air Force One so he could get the football to launch one single nuclear missile at Los Angeles... he knew that his terrorists would cross paths with CTU and Jack Bauer and that Bauer would enlist the aid of Tony Almeida, and Tony would get involved with a completely unrelated terrorist plot involving the Russians later on that would result in the death of his wife and him being left for dead, which would turn him into a techno terrorist and continue Marwan's assault on the US. :)

I think Tony partly blames Jack for Michelle's death. The guy was left for dead, screwed over by CTU and the Government and pretty much has nothing to live for. I can see why he would wake up one day as a psycho techno-terrorist.

Clarence Boddicker VS Jack Bauer :)

(The fact that they kept him alive for several hours just to then take him out like a punk is another annoyance.)
Anyways, trailer looks great. Can't wait to see Tony back in action, even if against Jack. |

Yea and a little bit of Live Free of Die Hard with taking over all the systems. It looks kick ass either way. I just saw that Michael Corvin said the exact same thing as me. Sorry man. |

all this season needs is more jack.
the lack of him in last season was rediculous. |
Maybe Tony was brainwashed like the movie "manchurian candidate"

I think Tony is undercover, and is being pegged as "the baddy" but in reality, it'll work itself out that he is not.
Why? Well... the producers saw how important Tony was to the series, so if he is the baddy, and you kill him, then you are back to where you started. If he truly is the baddy, and he lives, but you need him in the show, will he then be the "bad guy" for each of the remaining season? no. Tony is "playing bad", the reveal at the end is that he's still an undercover good guy, and he will fight crime with Jack in the remaining 24 seasons. So it is written, so shall it be done. |
