Has Flash Gordon improved at all?

It's been a silly ride, but I still watch the episodes because it has some comedic value, even with the bad acting and delivery of dialogue by some of the actors/actresses.

I have just fast forwarded through the past two episodes. I was actually geting ready to drop the season pass when I found out that they would be airing the two minute snippets of Battlestar Galactica. Oh well. I will keep recording as I will be saving the snippets.
Flash has turned into very bad comedy now. Bad writing, bad acting. It would take a miracle of Biblical proportions to save this mess!
Take care all!!

I think their depiction of the Hawkmen a few weeks ago pretty much sealed the fate of this show. Greasy-looking guys in black trenchcoats, who grab the sides of their coats, spread their arms and glide through the air while making "Screeeee" sounds? Yikes.
Makes Brian Blessed and his gold-plated wings look like Shakespeare.

The problem is doing a Flash Gordon without rocket ships, with half the action being set on Earth.

It's as if someone took scripts that even "Andromeda" rejected and slapped the "Flash Gordon" name on them.
