I loved the pilot so I can't wait for tonight's ep.
Also, I didn't know that the Congressman's(Baldwin) "tranny plaything" is a Transgender person in real life. I just figured they got some guy to pretty up for the role.

She reminded me of the girl from the Wire that helped Carcetti run for Mayor.

Donald Sutherland and Peter Krause play off one another wonderfully. Peter also plays off of Zoe Mclleland well as well (she's Lisa, his wife).
Thanks to the casting director for giving Tamara Feldman some work.
I didn't realize Karen was played by Natalie Zea (remember her from "Eyes").
Another solid episode, and I only hate that it's up against "Life" on NBC, but I'll manage.

Well, this was one of my favorite pilots of this season, and I'm happy to say that the second episode kept up the quality. I'm really digging this show so far.
And I'm thrilled to see Jill Clayburgh given something good to do. I love this recent trend of really great older actors and actresses who haven't been given a decent movie role in years finding their way onto really good TV shows.

That's who that is. I've been racking my brain trying to place her. Now I still have to figure out where I remember Nick's wife from.
Really liking this show. Even though they are on different networks, Gossip Girl and this make for a fun 2-hour guilty pleasure block.

I enjoy the characters on the show, but not so much the plotline. I didn't really understand why the main character confessed so easily to taking the diary. Seems like he was trying to get the conversation off of the priest's son, but 1) he brought the priest's son there in the first place and 2)his reveal was much, much worse in terms of ramifications. Now he's searching for a killer, but he just revealed it to all of his suspects. Great.
It's weird, because the underlying "who killed my dad" plotline is the one I like the least. So now we find out that his first lead, the airplane mechanic (which is what caused him to get suspicious in the first place) was bogus. His second lead, the diary, proved nothing except for the mystery of the scratched out words... though it seems like he starts trusting the dad immediately anyway. Now the third lead is somebody we haven't even seen yet? We can assume that this is all leading somewhere, and he's not going to find out at the end that his dad really did die of an accident, but where is it going?

I kept hitting play to bring up the time elapsed, and I stopped watching and deleted the episode and the season pass when I thought the show was nearly over and only 24 minutes had gone by.
Boring, won't miss it.
