As predicted, week two of idiotic ABC sitcom Cavemen came tumbling down, finishing third at 8 p.m. with just 7.00 million viewers and a 2.5 rating/8 share among adults 18-49. Comparably, that was down by a significant 2.19 million viewers and 29 percent in the demo from it’s week-ago debut (Viewers: 9.19 million; A18-49: 3.5/10 on Oct. 2, 2007). When a show loses this much steam in the second week you know the viewers did not like what they saw. Can you blame them?

If it's still on next week, it'll be the last episode.

Last night's Cavewoman episode was actually kinda funny in spots. I did chuckle at the "smoothie" comment, and it's pretty obvious the cavewomen wear the pants in their relationships.

Aside from the pilot, this was the first episode that I saw (didn't catch the premiere so I don't know if that changed from the pilot). It's not very good, but I honestly think that it is better than K-ville. Saying that, I can't see it lasting for 6 episodes.

I like this episode also. If this show was being done without the makeup, it would be a mildly amusing show - the fact that they are cavemen actually seems irrelevant for the most part. I get that that was the joke in the Geico commercials, but if the men were more Caveman - like (ala the Cavewoman character in last night's show) it might be more interesting.

I dropped the show after the second episode.

I'm interested in checking in on it near the end of the season if it gets a full season order. I think they're actually fairly close to having a funny show with a pretty different sort of voice. In its own way, it seems like it could be akin to Seinfeld. If you ask me, the first two "seasons" of that show (short as they were) were pretty brutal. They still are when I watch them over again. There was still a glimmer of something special that they ended up discovering and featuring. I'm not sure Cavemen is similar or what they'll get the same amount of leeway, but I'm interested in seeing if something suddenly just clicks on the show and it becomes much better.

I love the commercials, and really wanted to like this show.

I wanted to delete it from my DVR after 5 minutes, but kept watching in morbid fascination.

I'm one of the easiest going people you'll ever meet, and rarely hate anything, but I found absolutely nothing funny or redeeming about it. That was most likely the worst 30 minutes of network television that I have ever seen.

Haven't read this thread yet, going back to do so now, I hope I'm not alone in my assessment.

The show is watchable, I wouldn't mind seeing them bang out a few more eps.
