October 24th. Spurlock needs like 1 year to film all the episodes. That's probably why it's taking so long.

Really? Wow. I just thought it was FX's scheduling choice and not production delays. I mean each season is only 6 hour long episodes.

But on second thought if each episode covers 30 days, then that is 6 months of shooting right there not counting the editing/narrating/post-production stuff. Guess that makes sense.

I’m glad the show is returning for a 3rd season but I don’t have FX so I’m still waiting for them to release season 2 on DVD.

Apparently, Spurlock is going to be featured in two of the this season's episodes (instead of just one as in prior seasons).

Good to know! It's been so long, I figured it had been canceled.

Glad to see Spurlock is going to be in two episodes, too.

Any ideas what the topics are this year?

I'm not sure where that October 24 date came from, because FX hasn't announced the third season premiere yet.

I just checked the official FX site and they have nothing about a return date.

The Futon Critic lists this show as returning in 2008.

I saw the ads with Spurlock working in a mineshaft for his 30 days.

Why isn't FX showing this on Wednesday's at 10pm (it's old timeslot)?

Right now they have a Wednesday movie night scheduled.

January/February 08 according to several sources on the IMDB page for 30 Days.

Any news on this? I'm waiting for this since season 2 ended. I know he's probably busy with the promotion of 'Where in the World is Osama Bin Laden', but I'd say they would be done shooting by now..

They already filmed all 6 episodes well over a year ago. The latest I read is that this may be pushed back to summer.

A truly missed opportunity. This should have been airing while the strike forced most stuff into repeats. Well that, and I am also anxious to see this show return.

Could very well be, that's when the other seasons aired. Just strange they skipped 2007.
