Gossip Girl -- "Bad News Blair" 10/10/07
Spoiler:
I decided to start this thread a day early in light of the news that the CW has ordered the "back 9" giving GOSSIP GIRL a full-season order. While I think the show started out a little slow, each episode has continuously been better than the last.

It's still about the same as the pilot IMO - not better, not much worse. This episode was alright, but it felt long too me and only the last 10 minutes were truly interesting - Dan just acts like a total douche all the time (until the end) and that bugs me, he's the biggest girl on the show!
I liked seeing B and S at the shoot having fun and at the end, but everything in between was just DULL and the poker game/ball stuff you could see from MILES away and just felt really stale. Meh.

My only problem with the show is Dan and the way they portray him and his family living in squalor living in a high rise loft on the river in Williamsburg...

I like Dan, I think he is a cutie. It's odd he is so cute on this show because I did not find him attrractive at all on his previous shows Bedford Diaries and Do Over.
The WB/CW must love him, they are turning him into their new Oliver Hudson.

And I totally agree with all the conversations about Dan, but I've liked him since "The Mountain".
