I think more people are watching that "Sci-Fi Channel Original Series" Battlestar Galactica...

Keeping in mind that I've never watched the show, the way I understand it is that 4400 people disappear, then reappear.

What's a typical plotline?

The season has been mediocre and almost turned it off for good a couple of times. I think the guys who created the show arent involved anymore. That could be the problem. Each week we are introduced to another 4400. I'm getting bored by that. They should focus more on the mysteries of what happend from the future and why exactly they were sent back.

I tried to revive an old thread to discuss after I finished the first season but it was doomed to fade into oblivion. I loved it.

I've been tivo'ing all of this year, but haven't watched any yet. Reading all the posts above about season 2 is a tad disheartening.

I'm watching it and enjoying it. Which is a bit surprising since I was one of the ones that was let down by the revelations in the first season ender and the way the show was more episodic than a continuing story. This season I think they're balancing the main story much better even while keeping with the 4400 of the week.

I was asking the same question about if anyone else was watching this at the end of last weeks episode. I was very surprised not to see a thread a week ago considering
Spoiler:
that one of the main characters was "killed".

Anyway, I seem to be enjoying it more than most. Very enjoyable summer viewing.

I continue to watch. It's not spectacular TV now that they've gone from more investigating what exactly the 4400 was, to more of a famous guest star of the week doing a spot as the 4400 in the limelight.

I didn't watch last night's episode, though, but the premise looked really good.

I"m still enjoying it. I think they are doing it the way the X-files did it. A few interesting shows that didn't move the main story and then one that moves it a little longer. I"m patient and willing to wait to see where it is going to take me.

The last one with the false reality was the first good one I've seen. All of the other shows seemed like X-Files ripoffs.

I like how they introduced a new character and basically said all hell is about to break loose.

This last episode was idiotic, the worst one so far. Having a character spend eight years in a delusion just so he has a shoulder to lean on now that his son is an assassin.

I agree that it's a pretty abrupt way to introduce a "wife", but any episode that doesn't have the Starchild is top notch in my book.

My Tivo cut off the end of the last episode.

Can anyone sum up what happened after Tom chased down Alana after she left the office?

Spoiler:
She remembered him.. he remembered her and they walked off together arm in arm.

Did I have to put that in spoiler tags? I didn't want to take a chance.

Personally.. I loved this episode. Very far fetched.. but then, that what this show is... far fetched.

I've been watching from the beginning, and so far I haven't lost interest. It's an interesting premise and the characters are compelling. I don't think they really need to introduce a new 4400 every week, but at least that's one way of keeping the series fresh. They're not likely to run out of new angles.

I think the main reason I loved this episode is because I'm a huge fan of Karina Lombard. I suppose it's too much to hope that she'll be back, but this week's episode seemed to be setting up a continuing story line for her.

I thought Sunday's episode was very good. Interesting power. So obviously Tom plays some major part in this whole saving the world thing, even if he isn't a 4400.

I enjoyed it too. It reminded me of the Inner Light on Star Trek: TNG. Wish they were all as clever as this episode. What an interesting way to bring a new love interest on.

Wait. Did I miss something? How do we figure the son is an assassin?

You missed the final scene in the episode before last. It showed that his son was the one who pulled the trigger on Billy Campbell.

I like the show a lot this season. The last episode, even though it was another freak of the week one, was just excellent. I really hope they decide to slow down the character introductions, though. They have more than enough to keep the show fresh as it is.

I had given up on the show prior to last week's episode but after the reasonable reviews I'll tape the last ep and give the series another try.

Yikes, looks like I'm going to have to get into the habit of padding my Tivo.

And DS9's "Far Beyond the Stars" and it's "suquel" episode. done better in both series. Like I said, this is an idea that's been done to death and much better, in my opinion. I really with sci-fi shows would stop digging up this old chestnut. It's like the writers said "hey, remember when Ira and Rene did this on DS9? let's do the same thing in their new show to introduce the wife!"

People who keep missing the endings should be watching Dead Zone, then you won't have that problem.

lol ..I figured that out finally, as I usually watch 4400 first, then Dead Zone (usually a week behind what is on tv, and sometimes Dead Zone before 4400..depends on my mood)..and kept getting mad the endings were being cut, trying to re-arrange what records where and when so it wouldn't happen ..then I realized it was on the beginning of Dead Zone, so now I just watch 4400, when it cuts out, play Dead Zone next, problem solved..but it's definately annoying..

Just watched the last show. It was definately a departure from the rest of the series, and halfway through I wasn't sure I liked where it was going. But the ending was great. It was nice to see something good happen for Tom, and I think it will play in well with the rest of the series. Still enjoying this show a lot.
