I never get too up or down on BB in the first 2-3 weeks because it takes that long for the lines to be drawn and become entertaining to watch. Plus, this show is a 12-13 week marathon, and it's just the first week.

I have added BB After Dark to my bedroom Tivo. It will be a great thing to help my insomnia at night. :)

It really does help explain how bored these people get. No wonder they usually meltdown at some point in the house. I have never been a live feed watcher before and it really does give a sense of the monotony these people have to live under.

It was nice to see how crazy Jen really is, getting pissed at Nick over flirting with Girls in the House. I wish Danielle would have used the power of veto to take amber down and put up Jen instead, but we know she will be around for a while to keep the T&A in the house. I think I am going to start rooting for Evil Dick now.

Is it just me, or does Amber look like Sherry Stringfield playing a Klingon?

Also, how do the producers find people who not only want to both be on the show, but also have a past/history together? It just seems like way too much of a coincidence. And I can't imagine if someone like Joe auditioned for BB and said he had a negative history with Dustin, that BB would contact Dustin and he'd be extremely interested in being on a reality show.

I don't get how that works.

I have wondered that also. I can see them in pre-interviews asking people about their past relationships, etc. but I'd start to get suspicious if they would ask for their full name. I always wondered how they tracked down the brother & sister didn't know each other.

Danielle on the other hand I'm starting to warm up to. She looks like shes there to actually play the game and has some personality. I also like her dad tattoed Dick. He seems like a genuinely nice and decent guy who obviously loves his kids very much. Hopefully yhey can mend their relationship after the show :clap:

I voted for Amber to be voted off. Carol is hotter, and doesn't bore me with God talk.

I don't know what is worse. Her voice or Amber's on the opposite spectrum. Anyone get a Maggie vibe from Amber. I am 100% sure I am going to hate her soon. I already don't like her but it seems inevitable that she will be the ring leader of the alliance I despise.

Carol is actually the only normal girl in the house. It probably would be best that she goes so these idiots don't ruin her.

It's on 3 nights: Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at 8 p.m. (I think).

Thanks Patman. Wife & I caught this last Thursday. We've never watched it before but thought it was OK. I'll have to set up the DVR. Being the offseason, Thursdays are wide open for me and figured I would catch it live. Now with these other times arrrrrrgggggg...DVR time.

My assessment to date is that this season won't do much to allay the stereotypes about jocks and blondes.

i'm rooting for eric or dick. eric's a "regular" guy so he's got my vote due to that and i can relate to dick simply due to his appearance. it really is that simple for me.

i swore after last season i would never get sucked into this show again. how does this keep happening to me? i hate it, but i can't turn it off!

I was watching the feeds or maybe it was the after dark show and Jen was talking about her hardtop convertible Mercedes SLK and you could just tell that she's completely full of it.


I'm torn between Amber and Carol. Amber appears to be a Jesus freak and she won't shut up about her kids and family but she tells some funny stories. Carol is really cute but is a complete bore. She hates Dick and I just can't get behind a person that would hate somebody like Dick.
