Well I don't know how the Big Brother episode threads will be, if there is one per episode or one thread per week, but I didn't see a thread yet for tonight's season premiere. So I hope everyone watches.

Boo ya! Yes I know its reality trashy - but I own the fact that I absolutely love Big Brother...the only reality show I watch, and I look forward to it every summer.

Cheerleader, blond waitress and hot nanny.... not sure there is enough to keep me watching

Tommy Lee's in the house! (I know, just a look-alike).

I suspect Joe might set the gay movement back a few decades.

Maybe 18 pounds, she must be on the Nicole Ritchie diet.

A few observations so far:

I agree why does every gay guy (e.g Marcellas) have to be a "flaming fairy" :thmbsdwn: Aern't there any low keys gays available for this show??

Why does Jen have her name on every t-shirt she wears??. YES! she has a hot body but she reminds me of every other brunette porn star I've seen. She does look familiar though has she been on any other reality shows??

That blond chick does look like an anorexic Anna Nicole. Kind of creepy!!!! :lol:

That tatooed guy reminds of Lex from Survivor a few years back

I love this show so I will be watching :thumbsup:

Fyi it's only the first show I haven't learned ALL the names yet :D

I think we should go with weekly threads this year. The season long thread just gets too long. Although weekly does get confusing with the spoilers and what not.

I hope one of the 3 nemesises (nemeses?) get HoH next week, or one of them will be going home next week.

"America's Puppet" twist is sort of lame, but it'll be funny to get Eric to try to make out with someone in the house, like Joe! :D

Carol reminds me of a little like Michelle Rodriguez.

Nick and Mike seem like they will buddy up.

Zach is weird looking, like a young Ray Wise.

Kail will have to be nimble in this game.

Jen really likes her name (judging by the shirts she wear being Jen-centric).

Dustin probably just want to last as long as it takes to get rid of Joe.

Jameka is going to be a low flyer, I think.

Jessica seems pretty immature.

Amber's probably going to give good diary room if she can stay in the game.

Man, Chenbot needs a Big Mac.

Jen is hot.

Kail, in case you didn't hear, is a multi-business owner.

Hate these stupid twists, but we'll lose most of the "enemies" right off the bat.

Haven't really watched this show much.. It looks like next weeks episode is live, but they showed a lot of taped footage on what coming up this here. Was all that footage just from the 1st week? Am I missing something?

I'm fairly certain that they've been in the house for a few days before this first show. Next Thursday's will be live.

They always have about 4-5 days of footage for the new show of the season. They have probably been in the house since Saturday.

Been watching about 4 seasons now but I'm not confident I going watch this one. I think I may give sunday a try at least but I usually feel some type of attachment or interest in at least one person right away. Perhaps I forgot how misleading the first episode can be or just outgrew this show but the amount of fakeness, substanceless people doing the camera pandering seems higher. I thought I turned on MTV, everyone looks like a shallow model just there for after dark skin show or some twist.

The second they announced the puppet I knew it was Eric, was just so obvious there was something about him. I'm also willing to bet $100 at some time the father and daughter thing will have some violent or abuse attached to it from the past or otherwise.

Okay so did both of the gay guys say they have Gonarrhea? After watching tonight everything looks very promising. I felt sorry for the blonde girl after it was revealed the enemy was her estranged Dad. and the two gay guys Joe and dustin looks they will fight the whole time. But it should be fun to watch.

Dustin said he tested negative.

So...correct me if I am wrong, but Joe dropped the gonorrhea bomb, but I think he was referring to HIMself having it. And kinda blamed Dustin...who said, the test was negative (loudly). He also mentioned Joe fooling around with his friend on him. Sooo...Joe just sorta "caught" it at the newstand?? :rolleyes: Nice...

First episode, and already the fun begins! Dont forget that Showtime Too has 3hrs every night from 12-3am EST. Will be a lot of slow stuff I am sure, but the FF on the DVR will make it go quick, and I am sure that we will catch at least 1 or 2 "incidents" to make it worthwhile watching!

so who's going to watch the After Dark shows? I've got my Comcast DVR set exclusively for this and I'm going to try to keep up with them.

The lack of diversity really hurts my interest this year. Racially it's very one sided which is bad enough, but everyone except for two people is under 30. And ALL are good looking. I'm 23, but even I want to see a little bit of variety.

And like someone else said, can't they find a gay guy who isn't utterly over the top?

Is Gonorrhea one of those STD's you take a few pills for and get rid of it? Or is it like Herpes, where you keep that shit for life....like luggage?

I have almost 0 interest already in this after the initial episode. I personally would I enjoy the all-stars every time I think, or at least a few select few like Will, Howie etc.

It really seems like they should have some older people on the show like past seasons too.

Maybe this is too obvious to mention, but with the "After Dark" connection and the lookers in the house this is all a set-up for people to get it on this year. So the real question is ... when will the first under-the-sheets action occur?

So for those of us not really watching, just reading the threads for the moment, who are the confirmed enemies and why? And how did they react to seeing each other?

Jessica and Carol - Former high school BFF's. It was confusing on why they hate each other. Jessica made it sound like it was over 5 bucks that wasn't paid back.

Dick and Danielle - Father/Daughter who haven't spoken for 2 years. Danielle walked away crying at the first point she could.

Dustin and Joe - Former boyfriends who had a nasty break up. Joe claimed that Dustin cheated on him and gave him Gonorrhea.

The only fireworks were with Dustin and Joe.

As silly as it sounds, if you've ever been around girls that age they take these idiotic rivalries very seriously. Even my wife (who is in her thirties) will occasionally point out some other lady when we're out and about and list off some petty "injustices" that were dealt when the two were in junior high. :lol:

Been reading up on the live feed synopses, and they appear to be allowing more typical FOTH discussion to be shown on the Showtime afterhours segments.

Evil Dick appears to be a fun character (going by the live feeds and screen captures), hope he can stick around.

They did comment about how we are missing quite a bit of how people have broken into their groups from the get-go (June 30 until the live feeds that started last night), and how certain alliances and animosities have formed in that time frame. This is from people being puzzled by the nominations that Kail put forth at the nomination ceremony (and why it went down as it did). They did POV competition this morning.

What site are you seeing this on? I remember seeing a good one, but don't remember the URL.

Also a reminder what does, FOTH stand for?

So happy that BB is back! Summer just hasn't started until I get me some Big Brother. Not quite sure what I think of the cast, but the first episode is always a bit rough in that regard.

Watched the Showtime thing also. The only way I could think of describing it is hypnotically boring. It was so slow and yet I found myself getting sucked in. And it's definitely already game on. Lots of strategy talk. Evil Dick might be one to watch.
