I totally agree. We could be really left with some awful people if the entertaining ones just keep thinking one week at a time and not big picture.

It's now pretty obvious that ED has a solid group and that Kail had a not so solid group. Jen may yet still be penalized, but I'm hoping Mike goes up instead just so she stays safe.

The floaters don't really need to do anything but throw HOH's, really. If Mike wins the next one, Dani and Dick go up. Same with Jen probably. If Dani wins, it's Jen and Mike. We could be left with one from that group relatively early.

I also agree about being self righteous. If you want Kail out, don't lie and make it out about her being dishonest. Technically, she was doing the honest thing to tell her "alliance" something she heard. ED and Dani will never lie...probably never have...right. I'm sure ED is tight with Johnny Depp and knows about there being a 4th Pirates movie already.

I'd rather lies and deception and game-play than the rest of those lemmings who are just sitting and watching or Dani and Nick spending so much time together.

My god she tries so hard to get attention and, maybe someone else can back me up, but she always seems to look up and at people to see if they are looking at her. How annoying.

the strange thing about mike, is that the one or two times that he speaks, he actually sounds articulate and like he knows what's going on and could possibly get involved. then he shuts up again and does nothing. he should be in this battle with Kail and he should have been all over Zach and Nick last week to call them out. he would have had more "standing" in the house than Kail and would have, at least, made Kail not look as much like a liar and the only one to blame for starting an alliance.

Well, Kail is guaranteed to be put up, but I hope that Dick puts up Mike or Zach instead of Jen, just because at least she's got a personality in the household and it makes for great television. Keep her around a couple of more weeks and then when there are only more deserving people in the house, take her out.

The people I'm rooting for in the house are (not in any particular order): Dick, Daniele, Nick, Dustin, Amber and Eric.

You can tell that Amber really would like to 'turn' Dustin back to being hetero, because she always has her hands on him, caressing him and playing with him. She sees in him, a good guy who's a great listener (aren't all gay guys?), who has compassion and who's pretty hot. In other words husband / father material

Daniele finally got to eat some solid food and I guess the slop will be over after the food competition today which is a good thing. The slop might make for good strategy inside the house, making some players weaker and meaner because of it, but it doesn't really make for good television. I'm sure Daniele will look a little more healthier in a couple of weeks after getting some solid food into her. And remember, she's only 20 and still has a high metabolism, so that would explain why she is so skinny.

Hell, I was 21 years old, 6' 2" and 155 lbs with a full head of hair. Now I'm 46 years old, 6' 1/2" and 195 lbs and no hair to weigh me down.

Because she tried to campaign against him, to his own daughter, after promising to his face that she was doing the opposite (she told E.D> that she wanted Joe out). She lied, and she campaigned against him to Danielle (also making some awful personal comments about how it was good that Danielle's grandparents raised her instead of E.D.), Danielle told E.D., and E.D. called her a liar to her face. I thought it was awesome, but I honestly thought it would come back to bite him, because of how uncomfortable everyone looked.


Why does everyone think Nick went back on the other 3? Kail voted for E.D. to leave, but EVERYONE else voted for Joe, right? It was 9-1, right? So clearly that "alliance" isn't as tight as she wants it to be. Seems like she just tried to strong-arm the guys into it, and they never really bought it.

Mike only voted for ED to stay so he'd be with the house and Zach was afraid he was falling for Joe. Nick absolutely screwed his alliance over. He has said so. He told ED he's not there to win, one of the many dumb things these guys have said, but to throw a wrench into things and stir up trouble. He also said to ED that he'd leave to take heat off of Dani if need be. Too bad ED wants his daughter to be happy, so he doesn't see Nick made an agreement, backed out, and Kail was only doing what she thought her "alliance" members wanted. As written previously, she should have just realized this alliance was fractured and taken ED's deal and been quiet. She's not really cut out for the game. She's falling apart in the house, crying and everything. Mike and Zach meant to be in that 4 person alliance, Mike and Kail stayed true to it, Mike is simply an awful player, Kail is too emotional, Nick busted it up because he chose Dani over everyone (at least for now), and Zach is just plain weird and followed Nick. Whether that move helps him or not, I'm not sure yet. She definately did the alliance thing to quick and too much yapping killed her, and then Nick buried her. So, it's a combination of a lot of things, I never blamed only Nick.

PS-She campaigned badly and not at all subtly, but if she had a brain, she'd be able to articulate confidently that she campaigned against him because he said he was gonna put up members of what she thought was her alliance. Once she went back to them and realized something was up, she had kind of already dug her own grave and, basically, ED was already steamed and so she kept trying to get him out. That was Kail at her weakest. Totally bad move and no BB guts to stand up, shake things up, and make others look bad enough where they might end up taking the fall or at least look damaged for the future. I don't mind Kail going, she's bad at the game. I just don't want to see Jen somehow leave this week and I'm wondering if a floater might finally try and win an HOH next week and really shake things up.

I feel Eric would have been a good player if he wasn't being wasted as "America's Player".

Its a sort of primal thing I think. Like when Dick called Jen out for threatening Amber, even though Jen deserved it 100%, and from all indications is a lousy human being. I still sort of cringed when he read her the riot act. Maybe its something about *some* guys (myself included). That feel the need to protect the damsel in distress whether they need it or not.

Agreed. I find it funny how some people (i.e. Dolphinboy) are really getting worked up by it. Rationalize it all you want, but Jen and Kail deserved what they got.

You should probably avoid throwing out inflamatory names at others (Zach, Dick, Kail, etc). It seems like the issue isn't their disposition towards others (women hater, homophobe, etc) but rather that you're reading too much into something that isn't there.

Evil Dick likes to humiliate people (women so far) a little too much. I can see why he would go off on Jen at least once for what she said during the butter competition. But he even went off on her when she was trying to apologize to the emotional trainwreck Amber. You can tell that it's making the other houseguests uncomfortable.
