And at least they're on the same night... I don't like it when part 1 of the crossover is on a one night and then you have to wait 2-3 days for part 2.

Don't really have the time to post all of Thursday's Final Nationals, but here's how CSI and GA came out:

"Grey's Anatomy" (ABC) 19.31m - 12.6/19
"CSI" (CBS) 19.06m - 11.9/18

Solid numbers for both (though still below the 20m mark both usually got last season).

Here's the link to the rest if anyone is interested:

Wow! The NFL Overrun gave the Amazing Race a huge boost! That looks like the highest ratings the show has ever gotten....I could be wrong though.

Those are pretty good numbers for Amazing Race... and exactly what it needs. It seems to be one of those shows that, if they don't snag people on the premiere then it never fully recovers ratings-wise the whole season.

Simpsons and Family Guy also seem to be higher than usual. Family Guy's 100th ep got close to what the Star Wars season premiere pulled down, and I'm assuming Simpsons got a boost from it being the annual Treehouse ep.

CBS must be happy they replaced Viva Laughlin with Amazing Race in time for sweeps.

Screw CBS! I know there are 13.82m viewers that are happy. Hopefully they can average 10 million or more this year.

But that 18 to 49 demo is kind of disappointing. You would think that a lot of young people would be interested in seeing a show that is travelling to many places around the world.

Note: Due to the odd times for ABC, I’ve decided not to include all the 18-49 demo numbers this time... I’ve put some of the more talked about one’s next to the show in the regular top shows above.

Well, Heroes has gone under 10m viewers, probably because of the 15-minute overrun Dancing with the Stars had as the 9:30 half hour did get a over 10m.

Prison Break's numbers seem to be the highest of the season....

Heroes going until 10M is a very bad sign....

NBC learned with Heroes and ABC with Lost, that you cannot schedule a long hiatus with these kinds of programs.

Oh and also, you cannot put out crap scripts that totally ruin the momentum that the first seasons built up.

Boy those Journeyman numbers are just pathetic. I love the show and I'd still cancel it if I were NBC. Nice to see the Big Bang Theory doing well; it's the only other new show I watch regularly. It will be interesting to see how a strike-induced hiatus affects it.

Almost 10 million for The Big Bang Theory....

CSI: Miami getting lower ratings then most weeks and the WGA strike halting the production of the rest of the season….

^^^
The only good thing coming of this strike. Sorry if I’m sh*tting on you’re favorite CBS comedy but seriously, I could write an episode of CSI: Miami.

That's the one good thing about the writers strike. NBC may keep Journeyman on until it exhausts all of its episodes. That's better than pulling it early and having to watch the shows on the web.

Though, I don't see their ratings going up anymore. If people haven't started watching by now, they are not going to join it in progress. There's too much to catch up on and they will be lost.

There's only one reason that I've never watched CSI:Miami and that's because David Caruso's on it. I cannot stand his 'smug' demeanor.

Question- is How I Met Your Mother in any kind of trouble? While it's ratings aren't bad, they aren't huge and it's currently getting just under 1 million less viewers than Big Bang Theory which follows it. I know it's up against ratings monster DWTS (I detest reality shows, but that's another story), and it's 2nd in its timeslot. It's just that I started watching this show at the end of last season and since the beginning of this one and I'm not sure if it's numbers are good or bad as viewed by CBS.

At this point I don't think it would matter, Heroes has been terrible lately.

Anyways, NCIS is the new monster of primetime. It even beat House this week in the ratings; very impressive!

Although it’s not my number one favorite show on television; it’s one of my favorites nonetheless and it’s improved after a lackluster fourth season.

I am shocked at NCIS's resurgence, especially since it's now season 4 for the show, and it just keeps retaining and building on its audience.
