Yeah - I'm not happy about that move. I couldn't care less about the stuff NBC had at 9:00 this season, but The Office is going to get destroyed in that slot.

Until I saw this list, I never realized how few NBC shows I watch anymore. Glad to see Scrubs is back, but I don't have high hopes for FNL lasting very long in that time slot, but I guess they have to air something there.

None of the new shows really jump out at me.

I plan on giving all the new one-hour shows at least a viewing or two. I usually find shows I end up liking just by trying everything, even if the synopsis doesn't sound that great.

I will even try watching "The Singing Bee"!

Quantum Leap, Jake 2.0, and Bionic Woman?

30 HALF-HOURS OF 'THE OFFICE' INCLUDING 5 ONE-HOUR EPISODES, AND 25 EPISODES OF 'MY NAME IS EARL'
Nice.

So does that mean 25 regular episodes of the Office and 5 hour long ones? Am I reading that right? 6+ episodes more than usual = less reruns =

I saw the pilot for JOURNEYMAN back in April, and I must say, it's a boring show that will last a few episodes, I predict. I'm actually very surprised that it got picked up.

I'm just happy Friday Night Lights is back and won't complain about it's new timeslot. If ABC sticks to 20/20 and CBS sticks to Numbers, I can easily see this finishing at least 2nd in the timeslot.

Perhaps, but keep in mind how long NBC stuck with Boomtown in that timeslot against such powerhouses as 20/20 and The Handler.

I don't like seeing L&O:CI move to USA in that we don't get a HD version of that...yet. If one shows up this summer, I'll be OK with it.

It's 20 half hour episodes and 5 one hour episodes. 30 units = 30 half hours. Presumably this means an end to the supersized episodes for The Office, no? (although they could still do on-line producer's cuts as they did for a couple of episodes this season).

I think Boomtown was a little different though. NBC never really supported the show. I recall they only ordered a short 18 episode 1st season and reluctantly ordered a 2nd season and then they pretty much killed the show will little or no promotion.

FNL has the full support of NBC, their President and critics and fans. I think this scenario will be different for it.

I would guess that they would use Universal-HD to air the HD version.

hey we're only getting 1 more season of FNL anyway, so why not move it to Friday setup the DVR for 10pm, and enjoy another season of this years best new show.

Maybe we can even steal a 3rd...

I like the sound of Life and Bionic Woman in the hands of BG vets could be good.
Quantum Journey Man, Chuck 2.0 I'll reserve judgement until I see the final product.

I like what NBC is trying do, thank God there ratings stink so they can focus on quality to right there sinking ship. FNL would not have survived on any other network.

I hope they get the FNL DVDs out there soon so I can tell everyone to watch this summer!

Agreed. Referring to my earlier thread about competing time slots, I forsee myself dropping The Office next season because I like CSI more.

(I guess I won't be dropping it, just rather that I won't be getting it via TV...)

I don't see why you should do that assuming you don't have a DVR. You can always catch CSI during summer re-runs.

The show is called FRIDAY Night Lights. It was stupid of them to not try it on Friday in the first place. Even if it was just subliminal, there were probably people that looked for the show on Friday because of the name, and were frustrated when they couldn't find it.

When I saw that Miguel Ferrer's name attached to the Bionic Woman, I immediately thought of Robocop.

Glad to see L&O and Scrubs coming back.

I'm not happy about the timeslot changes for Friday Night Lights and The Office, but the fact that we're getting additional seasons of both shows is all I really care about. And with NBC ordering a crapload of episodes for The Office, you have to believe they're not trying to kill it by putting it opposite Grey's Anatomy and CSI. If anything, it's a vote of confidence.

The only other NBC show I watch is Heroes and that's staying put on Monday nights.

If someone is that stupid, my guess is that they aren't exactly the target demographic that advertisers are looking for.

You do realize that HS football is played on Friday nights and that many of the people who would be predisposed to watch this show might actually be attending real HS football games instead of at home watching tv.

It would be like ESPN airing that show Playmakers on a Sunday or Monday night during football season against real pro football.
