Some very general plot synopses:

6x19 - The Second Coming
Spoiler:
Phil turns down Tony's offer of compromise; AJ despairs about the world and his future; Tony takes umbrage over an affront to Meadow.

6x20 - The Blue Comet
Spoiler:
The allegiance of those closest to Tony is put to the test; a case of mistaken identity has serious ramifications.

6x21 - Made in America
Not known.

I never bothered rewinding it when it happened, as it turned out to be nothing, but I thought the exact same thing. I just assumed it was someone with white hair who was in the background, and never bothered to go back and check. But when it first happened, for a second I thought it was Phil...

Maybe the whole last season is a dream.

I think the next episode will be a dream sequence (hence the title "Second Coming" - and no, it ain't Dracula) that shows dead members of the show alive and happy.

By this point I was expecting synopsis like All out gang war engulfs East coast crime families.

NOTE: these are reportedly true spoilers, which most likely means they're 100% made-up. Regardless, don't read if you want a clear head for the next three weeks.

Spoiler:
Seriously, don't say you weren't warned.

Spoiler:
FOR GOD'S SAKE, TURN BACK NOW WHILE THERE'S STILL TIME!!!

Spoiler:
You might get your wish in "The Blue Comet." Apparently, "a case of mistaken identity has serious ramifications" refers to Phil wanting to kill Tony. Phil spots Tony driving around in his truck and opens fire...and then finds out he hit Meadow instead (Tony is not in the truck).

I doubt this is true because, well, even a blind man wouldn't mistake Meadow for Tony. But you never know. Maybe the truck's windows are tinted (can't remember).

And if want more supposed spoilers:

"The Second Coming":
Spoiler:
We can wave goodbye to Uncle Junior, as he commits suicide (perhaps unknowingly due to his mental state) via a pill overdose. And AJ will attempt (and fail, as usual) suicide by drowning himself in the pool.

"The Blue Comet"
Spoiler:
Bobby will get killed after walking out a toy train store (Blue Comet is apparently some kind of train model). The episode is apparently 75 mins., too, and will have B&W flashbacks to people like Junior and Johnny Boy Soprano and their entrance into the Mob.

"Made in America"
Spoiler:
Silvio and Patsy will bite it, and Phil might get killed by Benny Fazio (sweet payback for the beatdown he got from Phil in Season 5?).

By the end of episode, Tony will be completely isolated from virtually all his friends family. So he and Artie decide to move to Los Angeles and open up their own pizza joint. That last part might be untrue though, because I just made it up.

Well, I was wondering why I hadn't seen Artie all season long.

Those spoilers:

Spoiler:
Still sound like a lot of speculation, not to mention rather anti-climactic, almost as if they are begging for a movie to happen. Tony and Artie opening a pizza parlor while everyone has shunned him? That's a cheap copout IMO. Also, I read somewhere that a scen was filmed for the last ep. that was a confrontation in a cafe or something between Tony and Meadow. If so, that means Meadow won't be killed in the truck.

Tony is going crazy

My guess is that Tony will end up in a mental institution. He has never been shown to be mentally stable, and this season he has been fantasizing more and more about killing members of his crew. Tony will go mad... mark my words.

Dr. DVD:

Spoiler:
Let's go over again what I wrote:

So he and Artie decide to move to Los Angeles and open up their own pizza joint. That last part might be untrue though, because I just made it up.
Just trying to add a bit of humor.

And not to add any weight to these spoilers, but before the second half of this season started, spoilers were floating around saying that Christopher would get into a car accident, and then be finished off by Tony. At the time lots of people thought that was preposterous and surely the idea of some fan and then...well, look what happened.

Oh, and Artie can be seen (very briefly) a couple of times at Christopher's wake.

I was re-wataching this ep last night and cracked up when Chris's father in law in the middle of lamenting that he (Chris) left his daughter to raise their child by herself then turned to the baseball game on the TV and griped about the fact that his team was losing. Is there nothing that these people won't complain about?

Thanks for bumping this thread, Jack Straw. Clicking on those spoilers is pretty funny now that I know what really happened (and what didn't).

This is a post from wayyy after this aired, but I'm going through the series as a newcomer. Fuck Chris. He killed Dolan last episode for no reason, thanks to Tony for taking him out in such a manner.

Chris Moltisanti - a truly complex character, if ever there was one. There are so, so, so many scenes and episodes where you know he is a complete scumbag and not worth the air he breathes, yet there are scenes where you sympathize with him.

I was sorry to see him go because of selfish reasons - he entertained me.

I did like his interest in filmmaking and at times his sympathetic side towards people. The pain he felt at Adraina working with the Feds. But as for recent stuff, killing Dolan like that, pissed me off.

Don't forget how "nice" Chris was for letting Dolan work on Chris's movie.

The biggest problem with Chris (aside from being a complete sociopath) was that he could "dish it out," but couldn't "take it." But shit, ain't we all like that? We used to laugh when the bully made fun of some sad sack in grade school, but we sure didn't like it when the bully turned his attention towards you!

Scenes with him really were masterful at juxtaposing the sacred and the propane.

That was one of my favorite lines in the entire series. Me and a co-worker used it for years everytime we needed to discribe something.

I disliked Chris killing Dolan because it was cheap and made it obvious he would be killed very soon. Like the writers wanted us to feel less sympathy for Chris, so they had him commit a cold blooded murder the episode before he got offed. Kind of insulting, since it insinuates my attention span for the history of the characters goes back only as far as "Previously on The Sopranos".

I remember the same trick being pulled with Vito, who murdered some random civilian in the episode before Phil had him wacked.

Re: the Sopranos -- "Kennedy And Heidi" -- 05.13.2007

Oh yeah in that case I didn't care that Vito killed the guy. Is that bad? Plus I didn't remember that it was him who also killed Jackie Jr. But in any case, very stupid decision on his part to go back to NJ.

On that note I would love to see a reaction of Carm finding out about every single thing that has been done at Tony's behest. That reel alone would be worth another Emmy nom for Edie Falco!

Carmela's denial of her husband's activities is more phony than what she knows, think she knows, suspects, wonders about, and has nightmares about. When she flat-out degrades a person in her husband's crew rather than the person who controls that person she's degrading - her husband! - is the worst kind of hypocrism, and I really had zero respect for her character. Just sayin'....

Now Chris. Chris, on the other hand, had no illusions about what he, they, them did, and who they were. When Chris did his little intimidation scenes with Sir Ben (hysterical, by the way, his peeking over the airplane seat at him), that was Chris being Chris. I don't think Chris ever tried to "not-be" Chris, never phony (except, of course, when he lied to people about whatever).

The times I felt sympathy for Chris?
-the time he cried after leaving Pat's farm because his two favorite Tony's were picking on him.
-the time he bitched and ranted-and-raved to Adrianna about how frustrated and disappointed he was in Tony ("well maybe I need a little time to think about it, you fat fuck, ever think about that?!")
-even when he got mugged trying to score smack in the black neighborhoods (hee-hee)

I don't know - anytime a TV show can make you talk about a character long after the show has been off the air for years...is a damn great character!
