was actually a little disappointed - it's a great episode but it seems to act more of a springboard for the final season.

I just finished watching it myself. Yeah, it's a springboard, but it's AWESOME... I can't wait. It's the last season, and taking down a mob is going to yield some fantastic stories. To be honest, I wish they would just figure out a way to settle the Vic vs. Shane thing and the Armenians (I'm getting tired of that story) and just have Vic go after the Mexican mob & Pezuela, going after bad guy after bad guy, then retire after busting the biggest case ever as a hero, as he should be known.

My theory as to how The Shield will end..

Vic will get killed, in such a random, quick, pointless way by some 14 year old gang-banger wannabee during some gang initiation... you won't see it coming... Vic in his car... thinking his life is finally in order, and at peace, and then BAM!... fade to the 14 year old... shaking, sweaty, nervous, dropping his smoking gun, and running off into the night. The irony would be so thick.. such a vicious, street smart cop, who took on countless powerful criminals, killed by some rookie "next generation" thug, not old enough to even drive.

Spoiler:
I also just finished watching the last three episodes. I hate that Shane couldn't just tell Corinne that he was saving her life. I guess they needed it to go down like that so Vic would think Shane was threating him and Ronnie. I don't think we've seen the last of the Armenians. I think the only way for the series to end is have Vic and Shane be killed. That's the only thing that makes sense to me. Ronnie should survive.
