I hate to be a dick, but I really don't want to hear even the slightest bit about the French downloaded episodes. Not that these last episodes are a good build up, not even how good someone thinks they are. If you have to say anything, please spoiler it completely.

Great episode. Shane's break down was simply phenomenal. And I love how they remembered to put the scars on Ronnie's face after his beard was shaved.

I agree it was sweet to see Billings "on" for a change, esp. when Dutch realized he was right on and spotted what Dutch had missed.
So where does Shane go from here? The fact that he killed is partner/friend, all over a mistaken belief, really leaves him nowhere to go.

J'ai juste fini l'épisode 7. Shane est certainement un petit serpent étant en connivence. Je ne peux pas attendre les épisodes de jeudi. J'aime la France!

It's sort of odd, but despite the fact that The Shield is by far my favorite program and that it would be insanely easy to just go and download the upcoming episodes and watch them at work and have that extra hour or so per week of time at home, I don't do it. There's just something special about parking my ass in front of the TV every Tuesday night at 10 and then coming in here and talking about the ep with everyone.

Everyone was going off topic with the French episodes. As for what bralph said about the show not being in HD making downloading them an attractive option, the show looks like it is VHS quality sometimes!

^^Exactly. Just saw this episode...wow. What an ending. Shane is a MESS right now. Should be interesting to see how Vic finds out everything.
I assumed the young girl Shane was screwing was more around the age of 16, actually.

Thought the episode was great. I forgot to tape the first episode, but I still feel like I'm caught up on the season since I have watched all the rest.
Shane I guess hooked up with that girl in the first episode, but are there any other details that happened in the premiere I should be aware of?
Also, seeing Vic's partner had me wanting to get a nice stew going.

Looks like episodes 8 and 9 have hit online (from the French airings) - so make sure all of you that want to be spoiler free, be extra vigilant about what Shield threads you read on other sites...
