Of course this IS a double-edged sword. If people "hold off" on watching it, it is pretty much going to get cancelled. How does 24 get away with blaming this show for low ratings? The ratings weren't too hot when it held the Prison Break lead-in either. The ratings suck because the season sucks. If you care nothing about Audrey, then the season pretty much ended for you two episodes ago...

Vanished and Drive, I guess kidnapped wives are never to be found on FOX.

Christ I always had a feeling it would be canceled but after 4 episodes?! Whatever happened to shuffling a show around to different days of the week, then oddball time slots, THEN cancelling it?

Jesus, that was quick. A dvd set would be nice, but i doubt the story will have any sort of ending.

Kinda sucks! Like a few others I had this set up on DVR and had yet to get around to watching them. In fact I was also going to hold onto them for when my brother visited in June because he is a Fillion fan.

Maybe they'll air the other episodes online?

First of all, whose bright idea was it at Fox to air the season premier on the same night as Sopranos.
I was really enjoying this show, the writing and thecharacters were great. I wish there was something we could do to get this show back on the air. I heard that they were going to air the final two episodes.
What was in the safety deposit box?? What happened to the brother who was shot??? I want answers!!!!!!!!

Only two of which were on its regularly scheduled night... hell, I got a few co-workers watching the show. They watched all three old episodes on the internet, then tuned in for the new one this week... and now it's cancelled.

i was actually a tad bit upset that i didntbother DVR'n the 1st episode. i thought, "its fox, i will be off in 6 weeks". guess i gave them too much credit. i did semi enjoy the CGI intro to the show. now does this open the door for Rose to return to "2 1/2 men"?

Agreed, with both. I mean really, 2 weeks and its cancelled. Some shows take a little while to get going. You would think Nathan would know better after Firefly.

I am going to stop watching TV. I mean what is the point. Half the shows I start are cancelled within a couple weeks. Smith, Kiddnapped (yeah - it probably deserved it), Drive and a couple others since fall. Oh well.

Wow--I have it on my TiVo, we were going to watch all the episodes this weekend. I really enjoyed the premiere. Ah well. I'll just delete it now. Save the time.

Actually they ran 4. The pilot was 2 separate episodes.

I think it's funny that most of us who complain about shows getting canned probably don't even own a Nielsen Box.

Tim Minear set the 13-episode season up to have a conclusion, much the same way he did for Wonderfalls. So, yeah, there would be a conclusion, with enough openings that the show could continue if renewed.

There would be a conclusion in the 13-episode arc, but they only filmed 6 episodes. So the only way the story would have a conclusion on an eventual DVD set is if they including the final seven scripts on the set.

My girlfriend was all excited about this show, and would plan her schedule around it. I told her I wasn't going to bother, and not to get too worked up about it, but FOX would end up cancelling it.

I didn't really think it would be this quickly, though.
