Not really sure what to make of the end, or this episode. It will have to be looked back on after the season is over to see if it's an important part to the cliffhanger for this season, or just something random that will be ignored by the end of the season.

I'm going to file this episode under the "average" category.

The lady in the picture with the monk was definitely a "shit!" moment for me. |
Awesome episode if only for the two references to Celtic FC ("closest thing to a religious experience was when Celtic won the cup" & Desomond singing The Celtic Song drunk).
Hail Hail Desmond! 'Mon The Hoops! |
when i looked at the picture frame, i figured that it would have something to do with things, i just couldn't make the connection. kate in the tent.....

Excellent episode tonight. I really Liked Jin telling the ghost story. And did Kate look hot or what tonight.

It makes sense that whatever aircraft was above the clouds that dropped the woman didn't make a landing. Whomever was flying it had to know that they wouldn't be able to leave if they did. Apparently, the only way to go to and from this island is via the sub. It's probably the same aircraft that drops the food. Windmore is probably just messing with Desmond's head. I also think that Charlie must die in order for something significant to happen with Desmond. Otherwise, why would he be given these visions?

Okay, I'll be the first to say that this episode sucked. The flashback was pointless, again. Hasn't Desmond been in jail and in the army? Why not a flashback to that? Who cares that he was a monk, who cares about him leaving a woman before Penny, and who cares about seeing their first meeting. It seemed like the whole point of this entire episode was to introduce a new character at the end.

Didn't make a landing? It crashed in the fucking ocean! |

Thought it was a decent episode, progressed a few storylines and set up an interesting new arc. Jack and Sawyer were great. It wasn't a "Flashes Before Your Eyes" calibre episode -- but then again, who could expect it to be?
|
Kate gave me some serious wood        but other than that it was an average episode.
And WTF is up with Jack's new tattoos?? I mean shit come on NOBODY on the island has noticed that big ass tat on his arm? And when filming they are purposely hiding it from the screen cap gods so we can't get a good look at it......I mean come on now! Its huge and colorful, it looks like a couple Care Bears fucking on a rainbow with stars coming out of there asses! |
The big ass tat is seen in the shows pilot episode, so it's not new.

the big tat on the inside left arm was there in the Pilot. Noticed it when watching it with the rifftrax.

How awesome was the shoutout to the comic-book fan community from Brian K. Vaughan with the whole Superman/The Flash debate?
|
I drifted in and out of this eppy, therefore, I didn't much care for it.
