Who's to say he didn't do the same thing with everyone though? Have to remember, we don't see all of tribal council, just a very edited down version. There has been many post-game remarks that tribals have lasted an hour or two...yet we only get..what...6 or 7 minutes at most of it? Still, rather odd editing to show what they did last night. |
Mookie = the anti-Yul

Spoiler:
If Alex read anything into the 2nd vote for Stacy, and that Mookie was the one to tell Dreamz he had the idol, I think Alex may need to take the HII out of play. Of course, Yau Man and Earl seem to be the only two recognizing that 2 idols could be at play. It may also force the Ravu crew to rethink and search for the second idol (to find Yau Man's fake HII.) Mookie has done some stupid things but atleast he's smart enough to realize that keeping Stacy fucks him and Dreamz. |

Splitting the contestants into two different teams to compete for Immunity just screws with the whole premise of Survivor - what's interesting is the scheming, plotting, getting someone to swing their vote... not just blindly putting people together just so you can say it's a big 'twist.' This just defeats the whole purpose of Survivor - being able to outwit, outlast and outplay. imo, of course... Sad to see Michelle go tonight. Dumb move by Dreamz... So of course the game makes them pay by putting them both on chopping block. I love it! :D |
I like the way it was played last time. I wish they would drop their buffs more often and not always rely on numbers and alliances. It keeps players from being safe just because you merge with more players. I never liked when they picked off the non dominate team one by one. This mixes it up, and keeps everyone from feeling safe. You will see multi alliances and shadier playing (although maybe not with this group).
Lisi is the only player who looked just as bad after she cleaned up on the jury as she did when she was playing. |

I didn't really like the second twist, it felt like a random event out of the players' control and tarnishes the 'game.' I'd put it at least on the level of Jeff influencing the vote during Tribal Councils.
A side note, I was looking at Michelle's bio after she was eliminated and saw this: She enjoys 80s pop music, drinking Eddie James, pirates, things that are green and video games prefaced with the name Mario. |
Bad that Michelle got voted off, but it was a good twist. There might be hope for this season yet.
