Aren't we down enought people that the polls can be for individuals and not tribes?

Good point....I usually wait for the merge but next week we'll do just that.

I would vote for neither, as I expect the merge this week... and with both immunity idols out now, it's just too unpredictable...

Looks like merge tonight, which starts my favorite time of Survivor! With both HII found, hopefully there will be some good tribal councils in the future. Still awaiting the "decision that will have all of America talking"...

I would like to think that since the producers decided to air that scene of him burying a fake idol that there has to be a pay-off. If no one found it, the editors would have just cut that footage and inserted something else.

Spoiler:
I though Jeff mentioned in the preview to this season that someone does something shocking and altruistic ... never before seen on Survivor. That could only mean that either Mookie (doubtful) or Yau-Man gives up the HII to save someone else (i.e. Earl).

Spoiler:
Jenna gave the immunity necklace to Heidi during the Amazon season so I wouldn't really classify someone giving up a HII as having never been seen on Survivor.

In the preview Jiffy said "This time, two hidden Immunity Idols and a twist will drastically complicate the game and one of the most controversial decisions ever made by a survivor will have America talking". I can see the decision being Yao Man deciding not to give Earl the idol to save him after making the pact with him, as that would seem very out of character for him to do...

Hated tonight's second twist. Saw the first one coming.

Splitting the contestants into two different teams to compete for Immunity just screws with the whole premise of Survivor - what's interesting is the scheming, plotting, getting someone to swing their vote... not just blindly putting people together just so you can say it's a big 'twist.' This just defeats the whole purpose of Survivor - being able to outwit, outlast and outplay. imo, of course...

Sad to see Michelle go tonight. Dumb move by Dreamz...

I agree with leeta. If they wanted to split the tribe for immunity like that, they should've had it so EVERYBODY still goes to tribal and votes.

Michelle was in a great position before that crap, then she just gets blindsided.

Dreamz just isn't a smart guy, so it's no surprise he voted for the wrong person. He probably meant to write down Stacy.

That really sucked. Almost (but not quite) as bad as when Pascal got screwed by a purple rock. I was hoping the Earl/Yau-Man/Cassandra side would do some quick thinking and lose on purpose, and get rid of Edgardo. If the obnoxiously self-named "Four Horseman" take control of the game next week, I'm deleting the show from the DVR and walking away from this season.

I wish every tribal council was right after the challenge where they didn't have chance to scheme and everyone had to vote without being persuaded.

Dumb move by Dreamz.

I think Mookie's play now is to get in with Earl's group.

Not my hot little Michelle!

Dreamz, I hope you suffer greatly! Idiot! Stupid! You said you were going to vote off Stacey? Why the hell would you? Because you're a moran!

No, it was a great twist. Survivor is now not predictable.

Well now....that fucking sucked. No more cutie patootie Michelle.

Merging tribes was good...taking away camp Carebear was great...immediate tribal council was good...making teams for immunity was another lame twist though.

The meat of this show is the plotting and scheming that goes on after a merge as 10 people are all scrambling around working strategies and relationships. May as well just have them draw rocks and the one that gets purple is gone, if you are going to pull some dumb twist that breaks the game down into pure luck if your alliance pulls the same color tile for a team as you do.

Still haven't decided who's the bigger moron between Mookie and DreamZ though...both are working it hard for the title....
