But Laverne didn't die because of a decision Carla made. It was just about not being able to say goodbye / let go. Fraser would have been awesome in that 2-second scene, but it's also been done before. IIRC, the best episode of the series dealt with that very issue. Still would have been nice. Maybe they can get ILM to fix that up for the DVD release

Correct. I think she dies from what looks to be a cocaine overdoes, and Cox decided to use her organs not knowing she actually died of rabies.

That's right. I imagine it would still bother him to have mis-diagnosed that, though.

The first person that came to my mind was Ben, so Jill was an interesting twist.

Watching the reruns again on comedy central tonight, I finally picked up on something very minute. Both Laverne and Ben died in connection with Dr. Cox's children's birthdays. Wonder if it will be a story line that will appear down the road.

from Zach Braff's blog

"We just wrapped the 6th season of Scrubs!!!! Fear not, when we ended there were about 9 episodes finished waiting for their chance to air. Yes I have signed up for another year. Although tales of my new "arrangement" have not been very accurate. Needless to say, I am in and it will happen as long as NBC renews us for another season; which they have yet to do. ABC which actually owns the show (through Touchstone) has said that if NBC doesn't pick it up, they will for what would be the final season. So, I feel pretty optimistic that it will happen. All the actors and writers want it to happen."
sounds good, either way were getting a season 7. I just hope if for some crazy reason NBC doesn't renew the show ABC won't place it at such a shitty timeslot.

Anyways,
this episode was great, very emotional. unlike alot of other people i still think the 6th season of Scrubs is still a strong season for the show.
sad to see Laverne die. Its pretty obvious that this episode was shot before the episode last week because if i can remember rite cox had hair last week but in the flashback episode he had short hair.

Just a reminder Scrubs is on this week, cause NBC shifted andy barker PI.I's final 2 season 1 episodes to 'Death saturday'.
