Discovery Series Lobstermen

Does anyone know how many episodes of this were filmed? I uses the exact same formula of Deadliest Catch including the narrator and map to show boat location. It's not as exciting, but being from MA it interests me. I've only seen 3, maybe 4 episodes. I have no idea when it first aired.

noonan4224, agreed. I'm also from MA and thought it was pretty interesting as well. I only saw 1 episode of it and was looking for more. Maybe it was a test run to see if they'll continue it?

Being a fan of Deadliest Catch, I watched the first episode. I thought the show lacked the drama of DC. Seeing these big dudes pull up these tiny traps from the ocean floor with calm waters isn't really the same thing as watching them pull up these half ton pods in a winter storm.

I read that it first aired in June of last year right after DC finished its season. Must not have done well cause there haven't been any new ones since. I can understand people not liking it as much though. They should have done it for Swordfish boats. That gets much more exciting than lobster fishing.

I tried watching the Lobsterman. But it did seem so damn dull. Small boats, small traps and small weather. Discovery Channel tried to heighten the excitement. For me, it didn't work.
