Locke wants it secret, sacred.

rotfl we need to a count of when people state 'LOST IS BACK' seems to be at least one new person with each passing episode.

IMO it was never gone...it's just gotten better lately. :)

definitely! It has it's peaks and valleys, but I still love the hell out of this show

Ranger 03-21-07 11:02 PM

Not sure if anyone checked, but did anyone know that Locke and his dad apparently only have eight years difference in their ages in real life?

Locke - born 1952.
Locke Sr - born 1944.

Locke Sr does look a bit older for his age.

maingon 03-21-07 11:04 PM

great episode, but still find the "others" characters boring.

What would the Others have to do to be more interesting?

Call up the mothership to land on the island?

Waiting for Randolph Mantooth to join his partner (Tighe) on the Island. Cool Emergency! reunion.

Anyways, good stuff, although I saw the ending coming after Locke's incident. I guess that's Ben giving Locke his reward for putting him in a win-win situation.

Your spoiler was the assumption I made also.

I've personally liked most of the season as well (more than season 2, not quite up with season 1), unfortunately a few parts ran an episode too long and the tats episode was atrocious.

My reaction when Locke blew up the submarine:

Ted The Bug 03-22-07 12:28 AM

The dude at the end unlocking Locke's handcuff's and the door with his dad in it was the same dude from Juliet's flashback that was trying to recruit her to work for Dharma.

Mercury&Solace 03-22-07 01:05 AM

Kick ass episode. Some reveals, some more questions raised. And Kate  classic Lost is back!

MasterofDVD 03-22-07 01:10 AM

I agree the reveal was something you could feel coming on but it was still a crazy ending.

It was a very good episode but to be honest I preferred Ben when we barely knew anything about him and he was a smug asshole who was too much of a wise-ass for his own good. Now he's just a dick and it's a tad boring.

I hope this streak of good shows keeps going. Next week looks like a wild one.

brainee 03-22-07 01:15 AM

Locke flashback's are always interesting. You knew it was coming, but the actual push was sudden and caught me by surprise. It'll be interesting to see how they explain dad's appearance next week. Err ... they will try to explain his appearance, won't they? Someone has to ask: WTF are YOU doing here?!?

Have we had a Ben flashback yet? I don't remember one. That's one I would look forward to. His character has been gradually built up, and he's intriguing.

I don't know if much in the way of "mysteries" was answered tonight, but certainly the central story was moved ahead in major ways. And that's kind of satisfying.

I agree. First he destroys the Communication station and now the sub.
Is he becoming Gilligan with an edge?

Goddard did a good job as usual.

Kate finds Jack!
French Lady finds her daughter!
Locke finds his dad!
Ben finds more sarcastic one liners!
Sayid finds a swingset!

LOST is back!
