Kristen Bell has it. I would watch her on The Farming Network.

I've never enjoyed when the female lead ends up with the "troubled" guy - see Buffy, Gilmore Girls and VM for this scenario. Especially when there is a nice guy in their life, which is often the case in these shows. I suppose it makes for less drama but I've known plenty of people (myself included) that dated the same person for 4+ years and, aside from the typical relationship troubles, had perfectly healthy relationships. I've never understood why writers shy away from keeping this one aspect of life relatively normal.

If this is it, I'm sad to see it go, but not surprised at all. No ire aimed at the CW, like others have said the show just couldn't find an audience. The current environment is a rough one from dramatic television. And V.Mars had the deck stacked against it starting on UPN in the first place. Three seasons, 70 eps? Not too bad.

No no, emo Logan needs to go!
Tracer, healthy relationships can work. See Friday Night Lights. The marriage on that show between Coach and Coach Wife feels genuine and it's still entertaining.

That's too bad that VM is probably getting the axe. It doesn't help that the show is one of The CW's lowest rated shows and probably costs a lot to shoot it on location in San Diego. I wonder why they couldn't have shot this in LA considering the show's location is already fictional.

The thread title should be changed. This isn't official, and it was only reported by somebody at E-Online, who later retracted her statement and said it might be getting retooled.

Now that I've slept on it, the idea of Veronica at the FBI could be very very interesting, although it seems like a really desperate move. But it could be interesting to see Veronica at 24 doing what she does best, and I think it would be really cool if they kept Mac and she was some kinda tech person there, or just Veronica's roomate. It could be like a realistic Alias/Silence of the lambs thing...
Although I think its funny that the networks two fledging series "One Tree Hill" and "Veronica Mars" are both going to be doing time-warps if they come back for next season.

Never watched an episode of this, but seeing all the love this has received here over the last three years, I'd definitely check it out if it got retooled.

I have seen S1 and S2 for under $20 each. I know that VM: S1 is available from the TV club from Columbia House too. I know that I am part of the "problem" with shows like VM. I don't watch live TV. I wait until they come out until DVD.
I wonder if they consider DVD watchers in their equations.
