For a bet you would slap as hard as you can though. I slap my friends around all the time after some drinks but we don't do it as hard as we can as it wasn't part of any wager.

Yes, before anyone asks, we are children, all of us.

I thought the episode was pretty good. Barney was in top form and the return of the slap was unexpected and hilarious.

Just rewatched the ep last night, that was the funniest moment of the whole ep.

This was the first ep in a while where Barney was back to being the funniest on the show. I think this season Marshal has had by far the most lol moments.

Definitely the 2nd best ep of the season after the "slap bet" ep. But overall I've been pretty dissapointed with the season as a whole.

How weird was it that "Rules of Engagement" had a similar subplot with the stuff of ex's?

man, i loved this episode. so many things hit home for me.

yes, i too know someone who hates the word "moist".

i have had the "mermaid/inverted mermaid" conversation with my friends.

i have also had the "ride to the airport/crash on the couch/help you move" conversation. i agree with Barney 100 gazillion percent on his comments.
