Thank god President Eviiiiiiiiil is back. If we're lucky, he'll be behind the plot to overthrow the current President.
Never thought I'd actually root for Logan, but this season's baddies have been so lame, we need someone to amp up the tension.

Blood tests would only exclude paternity. DNA testing is definitive.

We're nearing the 12-hr mark, so I'm hoping for some good to come out of the revival of the Logans (and maybe Aaron Pierce. Where the heck is he?), and try to turn this day around.
Hopefully bringing back another baddie won't result in a hasty death (ex. Nina Myers in Day 3)

Maybe he got immunity/pardon or is still awaiting trial.
BTW, was it ever explained how Palmer became President? I didn't think he was involved with politics...

Logan you rat-bastard!
I can't wait to see him return, he should've won an Emmy, without a doubt, last season. And I remember during the first few episodes of last season everyone was hating on him, then they find out he's one of the baddies and then every look he made and everything he did previously made sense. One of the best role-reversals on TV, imho.

Correct me if I'm wrong...
If Logan was "forced" to resign as President, shouldn't Vice President automatically step in as President? Like Ford did when Nixon resigned. If yes, isn't the new President supposed to serve 4 years and why is the show taken place over 1 1/2 years from Logan's resignation?

Much like Itzen, Whitaker's character didn't seem that great at the beginning, almost a ripoff of Goren from Law & Order Criminal Intent. After a few setup eps, though, everything took off. The scenes between Chiklis and Whitaker were some of the most intense TV I've ever seen.

Gerald Ford served from August 9, 1974 to January 20, 1977.
