Sad to see Keppler die. I agree that he had a "presence" when interacting with everyone. At first I thought that he actually was going to hook up with that cute Lab Technician.
And I like to ask again, what was up with Catherine's reaction to his death?

You're right. He is dead, sadly. Even if he did live, with the plotline the way it was, I can't see how he could still be a CSI and they couldn't use him as a consultant either as it would jepardize any cases when they come on trial...

Did anyone notice at the beginning when Nick and Mike were in the hotel room, the woman's body was missing from the floor before David showed up and then it was there when Daivd was there?
I liked the episode. I hated to see Mike die.

i found Keppler an intresting character. i like when there not looking at the evidence all episode, its nice to see something different. CSI: Baltimore would actually be a good idea.
it would probally be more like homicide: life on the street than a CSI feel to it.
i like how all the CSI series arn't focusing on the evidence so much and more on the character development.
i used to hate CSI but its getting better this season. i would have to say that this season is the best of CSI. actually this year is a good year for all the CSI series. now they just have to make the original law & order of the law & order series good again (it will never happen).

my only real complaint about this is that it seemed rushed. i think keppler should have had some "dreams" in the other episodes. then leading up to him finally remembering in this episode.

I like that this show has been making attempts to break up the formula a bit these past two seasons. Between this ep, the ongoing dollhouse storyline, the Tarantino episode, the stories from the victims' POV ep, and a few others, it's refreshing to see them shake it up a bit and actually become more creative as they get deeper into the show's life cycle.

I look forward to a new CSI every Thursday night more than I look forward to LOST.
That says something about how much I love this show - especially in these latest two seasons.

One thing Schreiber's guest appearances has done: if he ever gets his own drama, I'm there. He proved, despite the writers wasting opportunites, that he has a unique kind of screen presence.
