I think it was kind of a "right-back-atcha nod" to the foo fighters since they like to play a cover of Prince's "Darling Nikki" alot on tour.

Didn't the NFL say they weren't going to tolarate that kind of stuff and that they would view the artisit's show and would approve it before they hire them?
Wouldn't Prince maybe get a fine or not get paid?

I was REALLY hoping to see Dave Grohl come out and sing it with him, though.

Nah, that would only be if he kneeled down and played the guitar with his teeth.

The NFL is lucky Prince didn't electrocute himself out there on stage in the pouring rain singing and playing guitar.

Heh Heh Have ANY of you guys seen Purple Rain? Not only is the guitar an "extension" of his c*ck but in the movie it actually shot liquid as he furiously strummed it. LOL He ALWAYS does this act. The superbowl was nothing new so whoever was in charge should have definitely known what to expect. :-)

CBS said they had to cut away from some women in the crowd who wanted to be on camera during the half time show...said they were wearing see through outfits...anyone hear any more about that? At least if they showed them this Prince phallic stuff would not be noticed!

Meh. The prudes generally like violence, so they probably would have eaten that up.

If their goal was to put as much eclectic crap on the field at once, they succeeded. You couldn't even focus long enough to see most of it.
I did like the cheerleading squad. It looked like they were tossing the girls about 20 yards across the field in the air.

I was never much of a Prince fan. I enjoyed his hits, but I don't own any of his albums. The show was just OK to me. Playing Purple Rain in the rain was pretty cool though. The wife was wondering if he was concerned about the rain messing up his hair.
