The TVGuide podcast said CW was pretty pleased with the ratings on the last episode before the extended break. If it can be maintained and built on a bit, it has a good shot for next season. Especially if Gilmore is gone ("don't want too many schedule holes").

VM will never be mainstream.
A smart detective show disguised as a tweener soap. Caught between audiences. American Eagle commercials show that even the advertisers can't figure out the demo. |

I'm just excited it is back on again. Time to power up my new HD antenna for my laptop! |

Is VM going to be preempted by the President's speech?
|
Not on CW networks (at least in my area)

Shes so hot when shes vulnerable. Good ep. With next weeks preview, is that our new arc? Could be good.
|
It was good to have VM back on the air.
I wasn't prepared to see Mac got so much screen time, but it was kinda sweet. Also, it looks like they prettied up Mac as well. 25/Oscar was a cute monkey. VM and Pizz shared a nice scene, and then totally undercut by VM going back to Logan, and crushing Pizz. Keith really wants to nail the professor for the dean's death. |
Also you gotta love a chick (especially cause its Mac) who would invite a guy out to see a 70mm print of 2001 at a local theater.

I drifted in and out of this episode. Still, it's good to have it back. I'm one of the few around here who wants LoVe to stay together forever. I wouldn't mind if they are on-and-off during certain stretches of the run, but I'd like it if they ended with them together for good.
Finally, it's interesting to note Kristen Bell is a vegan in real life; therefore she probably has some of the same opinions as PHAT did. |
I was just waiting for the professor to bust Keith. I half think Veronica's dad went for it just to see what he was up against. It's going to be fun watching Mars take him down a peg or two, mainly because we now know going all covert against him with either Keith or Veronica won't be successful. They're going to have to get mega clever on us.

Dear Kristin Bell,
I love you. You are hot. Marry me? Love, GizmoDVD |

I converted another one! My friend tuned in to tonights episode and was hooked - he's currently going through my DVD case trying to find the first season, hehe.
Personally I thought the episode was fine, but there have been many better ones in teh past - although its nice to know that Veronica has finally noticed Piz. |

And did anyone get a Y- Last Man vibe from the monkey scenes? |
|
I thought it was good.
Good to have more Mac and zero Wallace. |
Mac looked good. She must have lost 20 lbs. I SOOO want there to be another season. The CW needs to advertise on like the SciFi channel and wherever reruns of Buffy and Angel are to build the audience.

Good episode. I should NOT watch the previews for the next week after these episodes, but I so want more! I didn't notice any "Aerie" chicks this time around. Did they drop them as a sponsor? No one's going to miss THAT! So we had everyone in this episode except Wallace. That was kind of odd. Looks like Logan forgot to shave his chest before he went surfing. Or has he finally hit the chest-hair stage of puberty? |

And what was with the busted surfer girls? Those might have made some of the chicks from AI look good.
|
Dick, reprimanding Logan: ''How about a little life? So what, you're just going to mope around like that guy in — what's the book where the guy's mom dies and he comes back to Jersey? He's got that motorcycle sidecar...'' Logan: ''Garden State was never a book.'' Dick: ''It wasn't? Oops, so much for that paper.''
glad to see Marcel is getting work again! I thought Veronica looked better than ever in this episode. I liked the moment between her and Piz; I felt bad for him. |
3.29 million viewers... is it just me or is that higher than normal?

Well, it was either VM, or the Prez.
|
I loved the Ted Nugent reference (Ed Argent == Ted Nugent).
|
This episode didn't really do it for me. There wasn't much resolution in the case of the week, or any juicy clues for the Dean's death. There was some good stuff character and dialog stuff at the beginning, but the last half dragged and like LOTR:ROTK seemed to have about half a dozen final scenes.
|
I thought it was a pretty good episode. I always like seeing Mac and VM team up.
I really wish Veronica would drop Logan. I thought it was going to have a decent ending... and back to Logan? I'd much rather see her with Piz. |

i got confused, how did veronica know it was the lab worker?, was there an address in the shredded magazines?
|
By seeing the toy banana at the lab next door, she realized that someone had become emotionally attached to the monkey, and since the paper in the rat box was of hot chick magazines, she figured it was the guy. When she squeeked the banana outside of the guys place before he was there, she heard the monkey respond, so she knew she had the right person.
