Agreed. At first, I thought the repitiveness would get old, but it works.

And the subplots/continuing storyline is getting better and better.

House is a must see.

the sameness gets old after 2 seasons

wife doesn't watch it anymore and neither do I. She does make me watch Grey's Anatomy and I like it a lot better because it's more character driven. House is like Star Trek except in a hospital.

ER is also getting old. The whole ER cutting people up deal fast is overplayed and I think they had every single possible plot point they can have. Grey did good by moving it to a surgical floor to make it a little different but it will get old soon as well

I think the biggest problem with Grey's Anatomy is too many important characters and Grey doesn't seem to be one of them. With House you have House and everything revolves around him. ER they usually concentrate on 2-3 characters and everyone else is background noise

House is faaaaaaaaaaaaaar better. Give me Jennifer Morrison over Sandra "Asian Rocky from 'Mask'" Oh any day. Hugh Laurie has more talent in his fingernail clippings than the whole cast of "Grey's" has combined.

Hugh Laurie is outstanding in house. i tried to watch grey's at the beggining but it was no er thats for sure. through er is getting bad with no original cast member left in the show (laura innes was in it for a long time but not since the very first episode).
fox has had a tough time with good shows but house is one of the few they have done good on.
i actually liked 3lbs a little bit better but it got cancelled fast!!!
i have missed a quite a few episodes of house but i plan on picking up the dvds soon.
go with House. greys is overrated & this is gonna piss people off but so is csi.

House, on the other hand, is very straightfoward. Every episode is the same, and you always know where you stand. Typically this is a negative, but the wildly misanthropic House character is so entertaining, and the production values are so strong, that it overshadows the formulaic nature of the series.
Wow I thought I stood alone in my assessment of Grey's. I would have never thought Das would have the same stance.

Have you been watching this season? The past two years were dreadful, the absolute worst in ER history, but they seem to have gotten their shit together this year. ER is on the upswing. I'm enjoying ERs revival much more than Grey's, which I already dropped do to what das posted above. I've only seen a handful of episodes of House and it is indeed quite repetitive so if I had to choose (yes, I'm going to be that guy) I'd still pick ER. It would be different if you asked me last year, but this year has been amazing.
