There was a cartoon I'm trying to remember the name of with a team that would go into infected zones (I think they were cloud covered cities) and everyone would essentially turn into zombies. The team more special outfits that kept them from being infected, but they would get knocked off like every damn episode.

Anyone remember it?

Did the M.A.S.K. crusaders get overtime pay for fighting crime? (fighting crime)

I remember them (from the '78 run - I was just a sparkle when it originally aired). The series just came out on DVD.

In the 80's, Belle and Sebastian was my fav. I wish they would release that on dvd. Two others I enjoyed but not sure when they came out were Jabber Jaw, the shark that talked like curly from the three stooges, and the other one I don't remember the name of, but I think it had a character named Mayor Lumpkin.

I used to like the Beverly Hills teens..and a cartoon called cops..

Oh another favorite: Alf the cartoon..
:)

JMLEWIS1 11-26-06 08:43 AM

there was a cartoon on Nick in the late 80s I always liked....it was about a group of koala bear kids...also, not really a cartoon, but I was a huge fraggle rock fan

maxpower 11-26-06 05:34 PM

I didn't see Pandamonium mentioned...it was pandarific.

Trout 11-26-06 05:55 PM

I remember watching Bigfoot after school (about the truck not sasquatch) and Teddy Ruxpin when I got up (it was that or the Ag.report). I also remember Mr T. had a cartoon.

Does anyone know the name of the cartoon that seemed like a combination of Jem and Richie Rich...all I can think of is Goldie Gold or something like that...my sister had to watch it all the time.

My earliest memory at three years old involves a cartoon called Dinky Dog, about the world's largest dog c.1978. I remember it because I named my puppy Dinky after the show. Someone fed him a piece of chicken with a bone in it and he choked to death on the kitchen floor in front of me.

The Spiral Zone. I have the short-lived comic book series.

Someone earlier was describing the Snorks (the underwater Smurfs rip-off).

I was a fan of Dungeons and Dragons, The Comic Strip (Karate Kat, Camp Mini-Mon, The Leap Frogs, and TigerSharks), and my personal fav...

Kid Video! ("See you on the Flip Side!")

I

I seem to think that the Snorks was actually a spin-off of the Smurfs with one crossover episode. Of course, I could be completely wrong, but, that is what I seem to recall.

Your handle reminds me of a cartoon I can't believe I forgot to mention...

ALF (the animated series)!

Did anyone else watch the Once Upon a Time... cartoons? My favourite was the "Life" series, although "Man" and "The Americas" were excellent, too.

Is there an echo in here? ;)

The Rubik Cube cartoon may have been bad, but not nearly so awful, IMHO, as the Monchhichis. I don't think there was ever a cartoon that actually pissed me off like that one did.

girlnextdoor 11-27-06 01:41 PM

The Littles was my favorite cartoon.

spainlinx0 11-27-06 02:07 PM

What was the cartoon where the guy and girl each had a car that could fly, and they had removable console faces that talked to them?

The littles! How could I forget the littles? I loved that show.
I remember liking mighty max as well. That might have been the 90's though. There was also a toy tie in.

spainlinx0 11-27-06 03:17 PM

Mighty Max was great, but you're right in thinking it was 90's.

Pole Position.

I loved that cartoon. I can still remember snippets of the theme song.

Save Ferris 11-27-06 03:43 PM

Which cartoon was it that had a group of heros and a bunch of vehicles that were part plant? One had like a scorpion tail with a saw blade at the end...

Along with M.U.S.H., the Gilligan's Island toon, the My Favorite Martian toon, Wacky and Packy:the toon with the caveman who goes down a waterfall and ends up in the present time (I think)

This was all one show, right?
