Uh oh. Those are all cute, talking animal cartoons.

What were your favorites?

I still remember getting a stuffed animal of Bogey from Shirt Tales from Burger King (or some other fast food restaurant) - I cut its hair thinking it would grow back... :lol: I was <em>quite</em> young at the time...

I always liked "Inhumanoids" because it was such a dark and weird cartoon.

let's see. I remember watching snorks which seemed like an underwater rip of the smurfs. I have no idea which came first.

I remember something called woozles or wazzles. They had a toy tie in too. I had a bumblelion doll at one point.



EDIT: It was wuzzles Didn't realize it only had 13 eps. Seems like it was on for lot longer.

Anybody remember the one where it was set in the future and they had backpacks that would become like their vehicles and stuff? It was sorta like an anime. I only saw it a couple of times. It wasnt on any big network though.

My favorite one was Bravestarr. Wasn't on for very long, but I loved it.

Jem was truly outrageous. Truly, truly, truly outrageous.

Confession time. I used to watch My Little Pony. It was awesome though, it had evil witches and demons and magic and story arcs.

does any remember this cartoon? i think it was late 80's maybe early 90's. i believe it was like 5 dinosaurs, the leader had purple on his costume and i think his name was busy, the orange one had like saw blades for weapons, and the bad guys would freeze people with an ice ray?

Inch High Private Eye. I remember that coming on the U.S.A network they would always show the commercials for the Sweet Pickles Bus on Sundays.

Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors...I remember trying to turn my bike into one of the vehicles. God its a wonder I ever got laid.

I remember an obscure cartoon that had a smartass rabbit as the main focus. He was often chased by a hunter with a speech impediment.

Does Thundercats count as obscure?

I also liked Silverhawks and Defenders of the Earth.

I think I remember this, wasn't there a duck involved on some occasions too?

The name escapes me though...

The comic-book series was just as good too.

An episode I saw of ROBOTECH had this happen.

I'm drawing a blank on the name of a certain series. It was very short-lived and the last episode of the season ended with a "To Be Continued" (I was still waiting for it)
But anyway, it focused on a group of human-like warriors who were part insect (They had antennas on their forehead along with insect eyes) That ring a bell to anyone?

Is that the one where the kid would eat or get near something hot and turn into a sports car? That show rocked.

Thought I would be the first to mention Snorks and Shirt Tales(I remember getting stuffed animals from a fast food joint of those characters).

I thought M.A.S.K. was a pretty popular show.

You're probably thinking of Ace Bunny from the popular WB cartoon series, Loonatics Unleashed.

How about The Nintendo Power Hour (I think that's what it was called)? The one that had Simon Belmont and Mario, and I want to say Peach, Donkey Kong, Luigi and Kid Icarus were in it too.

Or the Lazer Tag series (Lazer Tag Academy or something like that?)

How about Visionaries, Gummi Bears (LOVED that one), or Monchi-chis?

I think there was another one called "Kid Video" that I used to watch - it was a mix of live action and a cartoon, and would always end with a "music video".

Inch High Private Eye was 70's but it was shown on Cartoon Express in the 80's. Man, I wish I had taped some of those Sunday marathons...

M.A.S.K., never saw the cartoon, but I had a bunch of the toys...

The first one that you mentioned was Captain N: The Game Master. That show was awesome.

I used to like The Bionic 6 and Silverhawks.

The Wuzzles. That one was actually laugh-out-loud funny.

Or Anya's take of the show on Buffy the Vampire Slayer - "or that mean rabbit that's always picking on that nice man with the speech impediment."

Why did that dude on M.A.S.K. sound like a third-rate Nicholson impersonator?

And that robot T-Bob? Why did they program him with a stutter?


And was "Matt Tracker" the dude's real name?

"The Sectaurs" I had the comics and a few of the toys. Never saw the cartoon.

I'd love to see "Rubik the Amazing Cube" again. Remember that crazy sound he made when he got wet?

I also loved Bravestarr. I was also rather enamored of Gilligan's Planet. Yeah, I'm a dork.

The Drac Pack was ridiculously dumb, too, but I loved that show.

That's the first one I thought of. I came on around the same time as Jem which was another obscure favorite of mine.

Strawberry Shortcake. I think it only had about six episodes, but I remember liking that one. I also enjoyed Mr. T's cartoon.

Rubik's cube was one of the worst cartoons EVER (of course, I watched it while waiting for the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon to start...)

And OMG, I found my 4 year old watching the Littles on TV last week...

C.O.P.S and Centurians were a couple of my favs. Would love to see M.A.S.K on DVD.

Wasn't there a cartoon called the Bluffers or something, featuring bears (?) who lived in Bluffonia (?) - something like that.
The Racoons was great, the music was awesome :)
