Thought:
Locke can walk. Rose feels like a $1,000,000. Why is Ben dying?
Me thinks the island has healing powers, which makes Ben a liar. Perhaps this whole thing with Juliet and the tape is all part of the game to "break" Jack.

Sorry to see Eko , go. Interesting character.
Good to see the "security system" once again. Glad to know it can take on human form. Found that very interesting. Just wonder why the "system" would kill Eko when the last time they met, they seemed to just act cautious and circle each other.
Methinks Bernard needs to watch his back.
Really like the shape of the new girl.

And maybe where Ben lives isn't close enough to whatever healed Rose and Locke.
Anybody think the eye-patch guy might be controlling smokey? It's the last unknown hatch, and it's called the "flame," right? Where there's smoke, there's fire.

I wish they would have killed off someone uselss, like Charlie.
Good episode and it was cool to see the monster again.

I still think the x-ray's are Locke's. Ben is on a fishing expedition with Juliet and is letting her think the x-ray's are his to test her loyalty. The writers never pass up an opportunity to crib an idea from/give a nod to the internet message boards and the whole Locke's-paralyzed-by-a-tumor thing is one of the first bigs rumors I remember from season 1.
This episode didn't do much for me and was my least favorite of the season. The two newbies felt completely out of place. Every time they got a line I cringed. 'Mr. Eko's brother was in that plane!' 'Toilet still works.' 'The video says there were six stations so maybe we could watch them on one of these other tvs!' I cringed every time either one of the spoke. Not sure if it was the acting or the writing, but they felt painfully forced upon us.
The rest of the episode was pretty so-so by the show's standards, which is still pretty good compared to the rest of network tv. Certainly nothing as dreadful as the stretch last year where we had Charlie going crazy, Locke punching him out and Sawyer being the new cowboy in town, but not as engaging as the show can be when it's hitting all its marks. I hate to say it, but I'm looking forward to next week's Heroes more than I am Lost. I think that's the first time since Lost premiered that it hasn't been my most anticipated show.

Well, I was thinking since these "others" live together, they would know one another's business, and Juliet being a doctor of sorts, she'd be the most likely person to know whose x-rays were hanging on the light box.

Well, I try to imagine these "others" don't just exist to pull the wool over Jack's eyes (or torture Sawyer), and actually live and socialize to some extent as people tend to do after some time of familiarity sets in.

I understand that the very nature of network television requires a bit of "make it up on the fly" when it comes to serial scripts. But we've now got a huge chunk of "character moments" in Season 2 that lead pretty much nowhere in terms of the grand scheme (if such a thing even exists).
I'm not here to here to threadcrap. And I'm not going to talking about jumping sharks. But I'm not too happy about how this is unfolding. I'm getting some major-league X-Files vibes (ala the later seasons).
