I think this episode was much better than last week. Many more awkward situations to laugh at.

Just saw Jenna Fischer on The Tonight Show and she looks alot better on The Office. Her makeup on Leno was bad and she looks better when not dolling herself up.

Did she leave her top button unbuttoned for Leno?

Damn it, what was it Michael said on the convention floor that made even Josh look at the camera for a sec with a "WTF" look?

This is my second ep, and I thought that it was basically Jim's gag to look at the camera, but I see alot of people doing it. Is it just that Jim engages the camera more?

Poor Toby, not quite being able to muster up the courage to ask Pam out.

"I hope its urine"... I was totally grossed out, and yet its the one of the three liquids I would have preferred too.

I know that Angela was "in disguise" and had her back turned to Michael, but you'd think he would have recognized her "tightass".

I think it's pretty obvious that Stamford and Scranton are going to merge. That's how Jim's going to come back to Scranton. Anyone who saw the British Series can forsee this. Jim's boss is going to be Michael's rival (just like the Neil Godwin character from the UK series).

"You should order the most expensive thing on the menu. Let him know you're worth it..."

"You'll have to put out."

"Oh, yeah, definitely... you'll have to put out."

The dramatic moments were great, and the comedy was great. I loved this one...

Wow - big let down for me after last week's episode. Almost no laughs - more awkwardness, but not nearly as funny.

Michael outside of the office is just hard to watch - he needs to be in his element.

I thought that was a funny "regular person Michael" moment, and great to end the episode with. I laughed when I heard it, then thought about it and agreed, then laughed some more.

Toby trying to ask out Pam was one of the most painful things I've ever seen.

I think it is good that they are showing there is a real human being in there. They need to do that every so often of he becomes a characture.
Good episode but not great.
Loved the last scene with the blacklight. Hillarious.

I think it was a Black Eyed Peas song. Maybe "My Humps" but not sure.

What I can't figure out is how they can justify Keeping Scranton and dumping Stamford.

Maybe they'll actually decide to keep Stamford and dump Scranton, but Stamford burns down before the merge takes place. I don't know that I see them going with exactly what the UK show did.

"It costs $1000 just for an application"

"Do some searching and find a cheaper baby"

"The waiting list is like eight months long"

"I don't even know I'll want a kid in eight months"

Not as good as last week's episode, but I still laughed out loud 3 or 4 times. When a mediocre episode of a show is still that funny, you know you've got a great comedy on your hands.

Jim discovering the "hooker" in Dwight's room was classic. Good thing I DVR'd the show cuz I had to go back and watch that a bunch of times. That's 2 weeks in a row Jim's had that wide-eyed look after a gag backfired on him. They should show that more often.

And why exactly is Ryan the former temp still going out with Kelly? He seems miserable around her.

I'd love to see Michael fuse flashdance with MC hammer shit if the tribes do merge.

Another great episode. Like others have pointed out, there were not as many LOL type moments, but the story progression and character moments made up for it. I think episodes like this help give the show width as well as depth within The Office world. When not every episode follows a proven formula and it is still extremely entertaining, then you have the makings of a classic.

Because she's unflushable.

I think it's one of those situations like in Seinfeld when George tried breaking up with a girl and she simply refused to accept it. No matter how many negative signals Ryan sends her, she pretends not to hear them and simply continues to move forward. This, and his own insecurity prevents him from making an irrevocable break. Plus, I think he may be somewhat frightened by her.

The first two episodes have remained pretty strong. Really didn't think they could live up to that amazing second season, but so far so good.

"Maybe next time you will estimate me."

I agree, amazing acting from Toby on that one. I think most people have done that at least once in their life, and it's moments like this that keep the show "real."
