They need to get rid of Smith (and his post-pilot face) and just call the show "Jeff".

I was actually worried about Simon Baker, but his character, along w/ Smart's, is the best part of the show.

Liotta's face was so puffy on the baseball field, I thought he visited Nip/Tuck and was working getting a new face before disappearing after making it to his goal of $10 million.

Amy Smart's character will be too ambitious for her own good, and will get the crew in trouble (plus she already left a blabbering witness too). She's sloppy.

The motorcycle heist went against everything Smith suggested (lay low, don't call attention to yourself, etc.). Jeff is a knucklehead with no conscience.

I thought it was ok. Liotta's face is distracting, plus he wears more make up than Amy Smart and Virginia Madsen.

I agree. The smash and grab was entertaining, and the Hawaiian drug dealer could get interesting. I'm not really interested in any of their family lives.

Wow! Liotta's face is a huge distraction and those lingering, quiet closeups on his puffy mug are actually taking me out of the moment. We may discover down the line that he has some sort of illness that's blown his head up like that. Too bad, the guy had a compelling face - he still does, but for all the wrong reasons.

Quitting the show because his face is distracting??? That just sounds odd. It's not like he's the kid in Mask.

I like this ep. better. I'm glad their stupid mistakes are already starting to find them out. I like the show better because that's happening...

But I don't remember him looking "altered" in the pilot, which was filmed in March 2006...and then this 2nd episode he does look different, which was filmed in July 2006.

give poor ray liotta's face a break. his character is the only one of the thieves living a normal life which makes his character different. but gree 4.5 mil is enough to retire on if you spend somewhate wisely.
Smith is my knew favorate show on television. Love Amy Smart, Simon Baker is great and ray liotta.

A little late, but I just watched the episode last night. I liked it and I think I'll be staying with it for a bit longer. The blonde motorcycle theif cracks me up.

I noticed Liotta's face in this episode as being a bit....inflated, but it wasn't until I saw Shannon Nutt's post that I realized how bad it's gotten.
