what do you mean, its on the far left side of the screen. Also it sucks that my local affiliate can't broadcast in 5.1 sound for some reason..

As far as the channel bug goes, I agree with ClarkKentKY on that one. I've never seen a channel bug anywhere near being that obvious or that near the center of the screen. It was making the show unwatchable for me, but it seems to have disappeared after the first commercial break. It definitely wasn't on the far left on my screen.

It was easily a 1/4 in horizontally and up about 1/5 vertically, i've never seen one that far into the picture. It might not be as noticable in HD or widescreen.

Luckily, it looks like they got rid of it after the second commercial break.

Given all the hype and build-up, someone's gonna get fired for the bug f-up.

In HD on my screen, it was to the far left. Nowhere near the center.

Middle of the screen for me too. Of course, it's been like that for a lot of WXIA-HD stuff recently, particularly football.

Excellent Sports Night reference.

Overall I really liked this pilot. I am a huge Sorkin fan and think Sports Night is the best TV program no one watched and the first few seasons of West Wing are amazing. The cast of this new series is phenomonal. This has real potential. As long as Sorkin can do his usual job on the writing and keep up that trademark sharp and fast dialogue, this could be something really good.

This gets a from me.

Now that the character introductions and the main storyline setup are taken care of, I'm looking forward to the upcoming episodes.

I liked it for the most part. I'm still not certain about a couple of casting choices, but I'll give it a few weeks to play out.

I really got into it. I love the way that Perry and Whitford play off each other.

I'm not liking Steven Weber's character (who I think is the person B.A. is having a problem with... am I right?) and hope his part is kind of a cameo from time to time. I missed the opening credits, so I'm not quite sure where he ranks in the order of importance.

Good to see Timothy Busfield in front of the camera again.

Actually, Weber didn't bother me. I usually like Matthew Perry, but he seemed off in a scene or two, but since it was the first ep - I'll let that go. For the most part, he and Whitford played off of each other pretty good.

Paulson's lisp annoyed me. I don't know if I ever noticed this much.

I can't stand Paulson's lisp. She pretty much destroys any scene she's in.

Yep. I'm only halfway throught the show. Don't like Amada Peet in this role and for as much as I love Steven Weber, I'm not sure I like him as an a-hole that he appears to be.

I can see why this costs a reported $2 million an episode. Not bad. Certainly not as funny as it was made out to be, but I can see the potential of the show.

Somewhere on page one someone mentioned it being shown again on some other channel.

I've never seen a Sorkin show before, but really enjoyed this.

I dug it. Wasn't crazy about Paulson, but otherwise I thought it was well written and well acted. You'd imagine that Perry and Peat would have good rapport after doing a couple of films together and I'd like to see how it plays out.
I really liked how after doing the Network thing at the beginning, instead of pretending that it was so original, they have every newscast reference the movie. That lends credibility and makes the show better as a result.

And what's with the Three 6 Mafia getting all the prime cameos? First Entourage, now this. They're really milking that Oscar of theirs.

NBC need to do better with the HD presentations of the shows, or the filming.
Maybe the pilot was shot using lesser equipment/

I was not that impressed. Unsure if I will watch it again. It does have a great cast, but it struck me as an arrogant self-indulgent look at me I am so clever and glib type of script from Sorkin. Many will be impressed by that though. Overall, it just did not interest me or excite me that much. Reminded me a lot of the worst of the West Wing episodes when Sorkin seemed to try to impress everyone with his intelligence. All the characters ultimately seem to be interchangeable- glib, sharp, super intelligent...yada yada yada. In fact, all the characters seem like they would be perfectly at home in the West Wing show. Seems like I am in the minority, but a disappointment for me.
