It's a good thing Conan's hosting, cuz otherwise I would've flipped over to something else after the first 30 minutes. Do the Emmy voters even watch the shows or do they just vote for the same person every year? Blythe Danner and Tony Shaloub?! Piven is the only one they got right so far.
I didn't even realize Wedge Antilles was nominated this year. Too bad he lost to Jeremy Irons.

Nice recovery by the Emmy voters. They got the last 3 right. Good thing Will & Grace wasn't nominated for Best Comedy cuz you know they would've given it to that show otherwise.
The Office had one of the finest seasons ever for a comedy series, so hopefully the Emmy win gives it a much deserved boost in the ratings(as Conan expressed in song and dance, NBC could really use it
).
24 had arguably its 2nd best season in its run, so it was a well deserved win. Did it endear itself to Emmy voters this year by having an evil GOP Prez?
Hmm, I guess we'll never know.

I was scratching my head at most of the victors, just as I scratched it when they nominated most of these s.o.b.'s.
The Office - I was very happy to see Gervais and Merchant in attendance.
I want me some Heigl.

Did SIX FEET UNDER win anything?
Thumbs up to:
The Office winning Comedy (Prefer Scrubs, but not mad at all.)
The Piv winning.
Thumbs down to:
JP losing Supporting Actress Comedy.
More later.....

Piven and The Office were the only ones I agreed with. The 2 female supporting awards were a joke.
At least they didn't pull the usual crap and go overboard with rewarding series that have ended.
