Survivor Twist?
From tvguide.com. I'm not quite sure if this is brilliant, or racist.
Survivor to Air in Black vs. White?
"What do you mean the tribe has spoken?!" The publisher of RealityBlurred.com tells the New York Post that "it's pretty much confirmed" that the new edition of CBS' Survivor will pit segregated teams of whites, African-Americans, Asians and Hispanics against each other. (Think The Warriors meets Gilligan's Island.) CBS has no comment on the rumblings, but an announcement regarding the new season's twist will be made on Wednesday's The Early Show. My question: When did Mel Gibson become an executive producer of Survivor?

Yeah, i don't really see the point in dividing up the tribes certain ways anymore since they change/merge the teams so early and often nowadays.

They should have people from different counties that don't speak english. Well except for the American group. Then they have to figure out stuff thru a language barrier. They need to keep this crap going at least so we can have a Survivor: Mars!

A true twist would be to have them drop their buffs after every tribal council and constantly have new tribes. Alliances would then be pointless and you would have to survive based on your own wits and not ride the backs of the stronger members. Would love to see this done!

Yeah, that is a good idea. They wouldn't really be on tribes, just groups that changed after every TC. That would make it a totally different game as the dicks in the group would have to control themselves or get voted off early. Now they can get by because of alliances/strengths they add to the team. Would definitely make it a much more social/ass-kissing game which would be interesting.

Actually, what if they had competitions for tribe captains each time out, and the top 2 would be tribe captains and they had to pick their tribe after each tribal council.
That would bring in more of the social dynamics aspect of the game, then just random chance of pulling out buffs from a jar.

I also think that the reward challenge should be a tribe immunity challenge as well. The winning tribe gets reward and is safe from tribal council. The loosing tribe comes back for their individual (even better elimination challenge - last one finished goes home) immunity challege. After tribal council they redraw tribes. Once the tribes are merged you could have the individual reward/immunity challenges, with 2 people with immunity at TC up to the final 4 or 5.

Or at least non-Americans. I've been advocating that for years.

The cast looks like a decent mix of people. This should be interesting. I'm still going through Survivor withdrawl so I will take whatever they offer, even if it is a "race war" theme.

So why is CBS.com referring to one player as Virgilio when his name appears to be Billy Garcia? What's up with that? He is the heavy metal guitarist.
