Bam Margera's Uncle 'Don Vito' Held On Sex Charges
Charges Involve Inappropriate Touching

(AP) LAKEWOOD, Colo. Reality television's Vincent "Don Vito" Margera, uncle of "Viva La Bam" star Bam Margera, was held without bond Saturday on a charge of sexual assault on a child.

Margera, 50, was arrested Friday night after a skateboarding event at a Lakewood mall. He is accused of two incidents of sexual assault on a child, city spokeswoman Stacie Oulton said. She said the charges involved inappropriate touching.

The MTV show "Viva La Bam" focuses largely on Bam Margera playing practical jokes on his parents and uncle, whose dialogue is often unintelligible.

Vincent Margera came to Colorado to film promotional material for ManiaTV.com, which first reported his arrest. ManiaTV.com founder Drew Massey said Margera had finished his work before the arrest.

Bam Margera, a professional skateboarder, was not with his uncle on the trip.

I was going to say the same thing. I"m not saying h'es innocent, but the guys dumber than a box of rocks, and like you said, kids look WAY old nowadays. We have neighbors with a 13 year old that looks like she could get into bars.

Like i said, not saying he's innocent, but lets not just immediately assume he's a child molestor.

Looking older or not, we're talking 12 year olds. At best they could pass for 18 or 19 year olds. Also, keep in mind that actual 18 or 19 year olds look like 24 year olds now, so if she looks 18 or 19 she's probably 14.

I hear ya. Assuming that he thought that they were 18, although not illegal, he's still a fucking loser in my book.

If found guilty, I hope he gets a Columbian necktie in prison.

But sometimes there are false charges. It's a little too early for me yet.
