Metalocalypse on Adult Swim

Anyone else watching this?

There's been 2 episodes so far. The first one was great, the second was not as good I thought.

I really like Home Movies and you can hear where Brandon Smalls is involved, but it is not great. I will continue to watch. Who is the fat guy supose to be? I recognize him from some 70-80s Arena Rock band. Anyone know who the rest of the band is suppose to be based on? I figure the lead singer has some Danzig influence in there.

I don't think they're each based on one specific person.

Not sure if anyone knew this, but in the first episode, when members of the crowd were being interviewed, James Hetfield was the One-Eyed Fan and Kirk Hammett was the Two-Fingered Fan.

I watched the "Underwater Album" episode just now.

Horrible. It makes me just want to cleanse my chi by watching some "Home Movies."

The third episode, Birthdayface was pretty good. You can watch each week's episode online through Friday at their website:

http://www.adultswim.com/shows/metal/waiver.html

Fill out the waiver wrong and see what happens.
