Thrush: The mistake Babalu made was chasing Chuck. Regardless of how good his ground game is, you never chase someone with the vicious power of Chuck Liddell. He landed a sick uppercut and that was the beginning of the end. Since Silva/PRIDE couldn't come to an agreement with the UFC, I guess Liddell will be fighting Tito Ortiz next

That sucks in so many ways. Liddell is freakin awesome but he hasn't fought a true striker since Rampage (and he lost). I wanted to see him fight Vanderlay (as did everyone I'm sure) soooo bad..
I hope Tito makes it a fight this time..

Supposedly the deal fell through. Because Dana wanted to buy Silva's contract from Pride and make him part of the UFC. Pride said no dice.

PRIDE has been very difficult to deal with in the past. Did anyone see their Bushido presentation on FSN on Sunday? It was terrible with all the commercials and useless filler. After watching that, I'll stop complaining about UFC PPVs.

FSN butchers the Pride shows pretty badly, they even edit the fights. The Pride PPVs on the other hand are very well done. Better from a production standpoint than the UFC events.

Well the past 2 weeks fights have been retty shitty...I still dont understand why so many MMA guys have such weak ground defense. Last night Smith kept talking about how good his take-down defense and sprawl were, and he gets taken down and RNC in no time...So does anyone think that Dana purposely didnt wash the mats so the whole house would get staph to create a plot line 
?
